When will JSU fix the under counting situation though, as it seems that is something that should be fixed?

I do think what NSU did during home coming should be illegal, as they force everyone that wanted to be on campus to get a ticket to the game, even though if everyone showed up to the game they would not be allowed in. Let me be clear though, I have no problem with them charging people for the cost of ticket to be on campus, but rather the numbers over the maximum capacity of the stadium should not be counted toward attendance.

I dont agree with charging everyone at all. There is still money to be made from people who dont buy a game ticket from parking, etc... and lets not forget vendors. The more you restrict people, you are only hurting the other businesses that support you. I blame Tuskegee for this.. lol

That's all he is doing is advocating. They will not get a on-campus stadium anytime soon.

Gotta start somewhere. You wont get people to listen if you dont start talking. TNState and TxSo need to build new 10-15K seat stadiums on campus.

Texas Southern is landlocked but I would love for us to have an oncampus stadium. Currently, we have a football field with bleachers that seat 5,000. The stadium doesn't meet NCAA regulation to play another FCS team. Therefore, when we play our homecoming game oncampus it MUST be a non-FCS school.

The reality is if we had 10-15K seat oncampus stadium then it would be a near sellout or near seallout every game. For sure sellouts no matter our record- PV, SU, and GSU. Possible sellout JSU and Alcorn no matter the record. If TSU is in the hunt for a SWAC championship, sellouts no matter the opponent.

Now that the regular season has ended and we finished 2nd in the west, interest and excitement will build. Should we beat PV next season, we'll have nice home attendance, especially with opposing fans as we'll host GSU and SU.

Because of the track around their football field and the way it's configured it does not meet the safety requirement for NCAA regulations.
