I. Spencer at V. Tech has 11 receptions 132 yards. 0 TD’s
J. Gibson Oklahoma 12 receptions 84 yards 0 TD’s. On the year.

this is the new norm - the NCAA caved in and allowed it - didn't care the stress it causes on administrations and admissions in terms of processing and environmental changes

this generation definitely dont care - they want a recruiting trip yearly to post on social media
 



I think those guys are looking for money. The school with the "first" collective dont have much money. Then the school doesnt make much money either. They sold less than 300 season tickets. The support is just not there. Its unfortunate for Alcorn and that is why you need a coach and staff who really has a heart for the school. Its also unfortunate because Alcorn was getting into a rhythm and keeping those guys would have been key to their success next year.

Yep. The teams with the collectives will always be in the championship conversation

I can understand why they make the jump though, especially if they are getting a decent amount of NIL\Revenue sharing money. Yes, some will go from starters to just being background players with a few in game snaps, but for some that NIL\Revenue money is life changing.

I think the more sad part is the young men who jump in the portal and never come out.
 
Malichi Bailey popped in my feed from one of JSU's former players. I checked his stats as the post was from Senior day. That mane had 8 tackles total for the season. Arizona is a nice place, so I get why he left the corn and Im sure this been a great year for his pockets but dang.

I was curious and Melvin Priestly ( Gram) Rt transferred to Illinois and is Hon. Mention All Big . Andrew Jones( Ole Miss) has 23 total tackles & is impactful, but a rotation guy it seems. Chance Williams has less than 30 carries/ 102 yds in 2 years at Cincinnati.


I feel like many ( certainly not all) of these men "end up here" in HBCU'S until they can find something " better" in their minds.
