Nice attendance for FAMU home opener.
Expected attendance for lsu home opener, Troy home opener, and (possibly last) SHC. IMO, the Shreveport classic’s attendance was due to each teams performance from the previous week.

It rained in spots in Shreveport as well

Troy supposedly sold 20K season tickets.

It rained in Memphis from 10am till about 2:45. We got to stadium at 10:30 and couldn’t get out the car until 2:45/3:00 when it finally stopped raining.

It rained a little bit right around kickoff. Grambling fans heavily outnumbered Northwestern State.

I’m expecting no less than 50,000 for jackson state home opener this upcoming Saturday!!!
So you don't think the water crisis will be a major factor in home attendance for ya'll? I'm thinking Grambling will bring at least 3-5K ... if anything more than that I would be surprised. Grambling fans are interesting ... they show up big for the Classics and Alcorn but anything outside that that is out of state ... it's like ?????

Deion said he wanted the water fixed by gameday ... don't look like it's happening. And I know they said they restored pressure but Jackson folks still can barely use the water so that's not really a big victory in my opinion and a HUGE inconvenience. Also I'm sure that will keep more Grambling people from going to the game.

The water in Jackson is fine. Where you getting your info from. The pressure has been back up to normal for at least a week and improvements are on-going. GSU fans will be there strong. They have nothing else to look forward to.

I'm assuming you don't read or follow the news because it's all over the news that the water in Jackson is not totally fine yet. And I said the pressure is back but that's only one of multiple MAJOR needs left. But if you believe the water is fine, I don't know what to tell you but good luck.

Here's an article from Sunday, ain't much changed in 2 days.

If the water situation is bad, those bathrooms are going to be rough, are they going to have people to manually flush the toilets? Any issues should be documented and shared with the national news about the conditions in Jackson Mississippi!
From my understanding the water is back on but the city is still under a boil water notice for now (you can still bathe and flush toilets).

if it's not safe to consume, it's not safe to shower in. I pray people are not showering in boil notice water. I read even some of the white people in the more nicer North Jackson neighborhoods have brown water so if they getting brown water you know the blacker sides of town definitely getting more of it.

I'm thinking the Gramblinites who are staying overnight will be in Madison or Rankin County.

None of that is true. Just let us handle our water situation because you have no idea what you’re talking about or reading for the matter lol.

And I currently live IN Jackson, I know what I’m talking about more than what you think you’re reading. No one’s water is brown in Jackson. It will be cut off before it gets that bad.

I read up on the water crisis EVERY DAY. I also talk to my family and friends who LIVE in Jackson. You cant believe everything you read. Even when no one else in Jackson had NO WATER, my dad always had water...lol I dont know why. He wouldnt drink it but every situation was not the same. Now the farther people get from the water plant, maybe the water is worse. I cant speak on that. Jackson has some bad pipes that must be repaired. BUT now we have help from the feds so hopefully we can get the entire situation under control. The last I heard about the boil water notice is that they had 120 samples and only two came back that were not drinkable. Im sure some shitt gets in your water too sometimes and you just don't know it. That's life.
