Who do you think deserve to be crowned?

Some think that the winner of the Celebration Bowl should be the champions and others do not.

Should a team that was deemed ineligible for post season play and their conference be crowned champions?

It seems like we will get a split decision on this.

Why is it now all of a sudden a discussion? NC A&T is the national champion and won it fairly. Florida A&M knew they were banned from the get go so no matter what, they wouldn't be in contention. Try again next year and prove this year was no fluke. * shrugs *

Now if people wanna name A&T the champ because we’re ineligible for the postseason and a bowl game that isn’t actually a championship game, fine. But on the field, everybody knows who the best team was, head to head.

All conferences do that for ineligible teams, they still have to play the games.

Also my argument was best on the field...7-1 > 6-2 any way you slice it.

So if we agree that the HBCU National Title has nothing to do with NCAA eligibility, which as a fact, it doesn’t, then it’s clear as day that FAMU is the champ

But that's where a lot of people don't agree. If you're ineligible, you don't get a shot for a National Title (fictional or not)

Nah...if we had finished 10-1, there would’ve been absolutely no doubt. The creator of BOXTOROW states that they would’ve named FAMU their champ if we’d beaten BCU...because the CB and eligibility has nothing to do with the title

There are still a number of them there.

Look in order to be a champion everything has to be in order to compete. It takes more than what you do on a field. Yet, anyone with some sense at FAMU would have shut all this championship mess down real quick with these words, "We did not have the chance to compete because of individuals who did not do their job. Congrats to NC A&T but FAMU will be in the Celebration Bowl next year."

Yet...stupidity along with pure n-word mess started all this....
