2018 SWAC FOOTBALL





Not for the 2018 season but maybe for the 2019 season....

I see the SCG coming back but the winning team hosting the game.

I agree. They need a Commish in place before making another move at the SCG being hosted in a major city. For now, just get ready to come to Jackson. Im really happy they are not ending the SCG!

I heard they change it every year now. Makes no sense to me but that's what I heard.
 
But then again, JSU does not have TxSo or Grambling on our schedule so maybe it stayed the same. It should. It would be far too complicated to change it out every year.

For starters, stop booking Frankie Beverly and Maze for this game.

You are trying to capture the younger audience, your future, the old crowd is going to show up to support the game and school. So now you have to tap into that younger crowd. That 17-27 crowd that may not buy a ticket.

So what you do, You book the dayum Migos for the concert show. There you got the young crowd, even though they may not watch the game, they still have to buy a ticket and your event still makes money.

Maze can be a separate event in its on.

Man pay the Migos to do 5 songs and book them for an after SWAC party event.

Same with Maze, and you will make your money and get that crowd.

you just cant depend on young folks. Look at alumni associations.. Youngins complain and when you cater to them, they dont show up.. it spans all organizations.
