SWAC EAST:
BAMA ST Jenkins will figure out the SWAC this year. He has talent. SWAC Beware!!!
AAMU is improved and has a formula for success. A darkhorse contender with the talent and coaching to make a run.
ALCORN has the talent but will the coaching be able to push all the right buttons.
JSU is stock piling talent for long term success. Could very well sneak in especially if the talent gels. Solidify a QB and anything could happen.
MVSU will have a huge upset in the SWAC this year. Will it be your school?

GSU is the team to beat until someone dethrones them. Coaching staff does a great job with game planning and situational awareness.
*Next 3 teams in the SWAC West could win the SWAC East; that's how good the West is - Southern, PV, & TXSU.
PV by all indications has all the right ingredients to challenge Gram. Are they ready for the spotlight?
TXSU - Haywood is reawakening a GIANT in Houston and building a winning program. They will dismantle FAMU and after that signature win all bets are off.
Southern - the program that everyone loves to hate but few can figure out. Talent is never a issue in LA but the problem seems that other programs are pulling in talent as well. Never count Southern out of anything but the road to the SWAC West title will be tougher.
UAPB - New leadership and blood is needed for this program to see success again.

But doesn't he rep Alabama State...this is nice smack material....a good comparison to the Trump supporters who didn't understand the Declaration of Independence or Obama Care and the Affordable Care Act. We have SWAC folks who do not understand the Celebration Bowl???? I guess next we will be having Alabama State folks saying that the Celebration Bowl and the Air Force Celebration Bowl are two different events.

Winning the Celebration Bowl does not equal BCF national champions. There have been votes for TnSU, Tuskegee, WSSU, and Virginia State within the past few years. If all the presidents came together and agreed that the CB will determine the BCF national champ, then they will. But that wont happen because there are good teams outside of the SWAC and MEAC who could win that game as well.
