Same thing I said. We don't have the funds to compete with these teams yet. I saw some positives from the game but you don't really learn much playing these teams. We are much better coached this year. 2 penalties for 10 yards is unheard of for JSU the past decade maybe lol. Looking forward to when the season starts next week
 
Those scores are pathetic. And some folks want Bama State to move up to FBS. SMH

FBS schools are beating each other far worse than SU and Bama State lost.
 
Because the two teams SU and Bama State played are trash. All 4 of the games you listed above will likely be top 10 teams at the end of the season except Boise.

no shit..We shouldnt even be playing them in the first place. We dont want to do the playoffs and compete with folks on our level but we'll damn sure get embarrassed for the all mighty dollar.

Good call basebone. I am looking forward to the Tulane game against the Jags. I watched Tulane against Wake and their offense looked small and inexperienced. The Green Wave defense looked very good. Tillery must have a big game and their QB can't miss open receivers in order for the Jags to make this a game. This game will be all on the SU offense.
