2014 Sugar Bowl

I wish SWAC Football would take the mentality of UCF and Oklahoma when we play these OOC FCS Football Games. When you already have it in your mind you beat before you hit the field, you will get beat. Go against that FCS Team with the mentality, "You Ain't Shit and We're About to Kick Your Ass".

you right to a point, but you still have to have comparable talent. I do agree with the mentality though...

Isn't that making lil Nicki actually have to coach....that is my point....Nicki builds programs, accumulates GREAT Quantities of talent and then plays the game by the book....My talent is just bigger, faster, and stronger than yours rule. Keep it simple and hope that the other teams lays down, gives in, or just is to afraid to try anything to stand up to them or attack them (LES MILES). Most teams play them to try and stay in the game, tonight OU is playing them to win. That is not in the LIL NICKI PLAYBOOK....Kevin Sumlin plays lil Nicki to win not just stay in the game, problem this year was they absolutely have the worst defense in the world...lol Auburn attacked them and ended up winning...I'm not saying that OU or Auburn have more talent than Alabama, but if you make lil Nicki come out of his confort zone and do what he doesn't expect you to and you have comparable talent then this is the result a lot of times....(UAB, Ole Miss., Iowa, Utah, etc...)

I agree with you. Mentality is just as important as talent. Hit a bully in a mouth.

Hi, my name is apple. I guess you must be orange.

The game is passing Nick by. He don't know how to defend this kind of offense. smh.

Texas A&M, Auburn and now Oklahoma is crushing them big 260lb linebackers.

Then Nick won't bench Yeldon's fumbling azz. :shame:

Another Thing about Saban...I too believe in keeping the pressure on...but you have to know when to pull off and trust your players know what they must do.

Saban and Jimmy Johnson's methods grow old quick. Yes, it brings them wins but eventually it gets old and wears the players (and assistant coaches) out.

Sometimes, pressure does more harm than good. A truly good coach knows when to turn up the heat and when to cool it down. That's the tricky part of coaching.

We both know you can't stand Nicky

Mentality can be same Kendrick. Just like Alcorn in 2014 is taking the mentality of the 80s U....:x:

OU is the 11th ranked team in the nation. Don't give me that mentality stuff in comparison to SWAC schools playing against BCS schools. The Sooners have the athletes to compete.

why do you keep saying this...I have nothing against lil Nicki...His Xs and Os are just over-rated....He is a Great College Coach...meaning he is very very good with all the other things that make a Great College Coach (recruiting, program building, image building, etc.)

I really don't think he is saying when we play the Alabamas, Ohio States, Florida States, etc. I think he is saying this is the mentalitiy that we should have when we play the U of Hs, the ULLs, ULMs, Tulanes, and Southern Miss. types. I could be wrong and I am not a mind reader, but that is what I got from his comments....and if that is the case I agree with him...

Because you can't lol

1) Oklahoma has the same talent level as Alabama

2) Oklahoma is coming in with a chip on their shoulder trying to prove a point

3) Alabama is making a ton of mistakes which Oklahoma took advantage of.

See Comegy...ooops I mean lil Nicky was picking up 10 and 9 yards back to back and then with no change in the OU defensive set he decides to pass the ball 3 times in a row....Punt....Xs and Os....that's all I'm saying....

We have a hard time beating fellow HBCUs/D2s on a consistent basis. Baby steps first.
