How about you worry about NOT coming in 3rd, 4th, or 5th in the EAST like you always do. In your BEST year in 20 years, you came in THIRD... now ya'll have your chests poked out. JSU is always either #1 or #2 in in the EAST. Youaintonjsuslevel!
 
TP, as wolves don't concern themselves with the opinion of sheep, JSU shouldn't concern itself with the opinion of an Alcornite. When they start consistently winning something....anything, then that might change.

JSU & Valley I'm not really concerned with. Jstate will be sorry (I really think we exposed them) and Valley prolly will need another year to get right.

that SU game from 98 still pisses me off why yall have to bring that crap up lol.

See Alcornites, you have already fallen into the trap. The hell with 2013. It's dead and gone. This is 2014 andEverybody is 0-0. I am glad I had a high school coach who taught me how to win the right way. Every game must be played like it's your last. Stop focusing on JSU, SU, the Bamas, Valley, etc. Have a mentality like that Detroit murder gang on Gangland, "Kill 'Em All"(Stole this idea from John Calipari, who used a casket to motivate the Kentucky Fab Five. Put a bullet through the heads of all SWAC teams we play.

Another thing....I want the nastiest, loudest, gung-ho, curse word fill atmosphere this season at ALL home games, not just JSU. Every opposing fan base should feel tense and hostile when they enter within the front campus gates. They should feel as uncomfortable as possible. It's not enough to be a smartass in the stands. We need to be ratchet. This controlled fury shit I witnessed at the 2012 Soul Bowl is unacceptable. Every opposing teams players, alumni, and fans need to feel like they have walked into a dark alley full of gang activity.

... and IF this game comes down to decide the EAST, don't be suprised if it doesn't move to Jackson.. :lmao:
 
I think Alcorn State is gonna go 187 on the SWAC East this year. People are gonna be in body bags, casket, urns, you name it. Scalped by the Braves.

I wouldn't be too surprised but I think Alcorn is more of a wildcard than a lock. They could be anywhere from #1 to #5. I think they are getting a bit too much praise when all they REALLY did last year was beat a JSU team may or may not have lacked motivation. They lost to one of the worst teams in the EAST, two week prior. Also, they had two gimme wins to get them to 9-3. Replace Wagner/Ed Waters with TNState ( to make their schedule comparable to JSU/AlaState) and you have have a 7-4 team that everyone is raving over. :noidea:

But hey Alcorn is my 2nd fav SWAC team so we shall see. I think they will beat SU as usual but I don't think getting past AAMU, PV, JSU and AlaState will be a walk in the park for them. ...AND they have to go to Valley to face a team with a new energy.

No! TP :smh: I know what I meant. The 1998 game in Lorman was a hard fought game....down to the wire... which many of the SU/Alcorn games have gone over the years. Johnny Thomas's 1st year as HC. They went 5-6. But the game was a classic Dog Fight!

SU went 9-3 that year & was SWAC Champs. Alcorn was a sure victory until Thomas called that onside kide.....SU drove and scored on a FG with no time left!!
That game was one of many Close hard fought battles... Which makes SU/Alcorn yet another Great Rivalry!

Oh aiight. Thomas had Alcorn so bad in 1999, I thought they were really bad in 1998 too.
