I am just of the opinion that our team took the week off. Our team struggled ALL year just to get to Bham. I think they just breathed a sigh of relief when they left AAMU and played how they practiced that week. That's just MY opinion. Alcorn didnt come close to that type of performance ALL season long. No one beat JSU like that ALL season long and we came right back and lost a game in OT. All of those things spell fluke.

If the game was for the bid to Houston, Alcorn would have got scalped as usual. JSU had our bags packed. We had nothing to prove but WE DID learn a valuable lesson that day. You will get that azz whoopin back this year.

Well, I will take being 1-4 in SCGs over 0-0. You are about to reach the TWENTY year anniversary of when you last won the SWAC. It may have been seven seasons ago, but we did win the SWAC and we have been to ship 3 times since then. All you have in the last 20 years is a fluke win over JSU.

Let me tell you who you need to be concerned with: PV, JSU, AAMU, AlaState and Valley. That's 5 teams that will be BETTER this year than last year. If Alcorn does not step their game up, there will be AT LEAST three Ls in that group. People seem to forget so quickly that Alcorn lost to a 4-7 AAMU team AT home.. For some some reason, ALL of the focus is on that fact that they beat JSU.
