Thats a pretty narrow statement, he is less than 100 miles where he played college ball. They will sell additional tickets because he is a home grown product. Its about business.

Man gone on with this bs...that boy is better than a 7th round pick...this was a please bail the NFL out of a potential lawsuit by the LGBT pick and since the Rams are in Missouri the owner voted to make them do it!

Craig Loston a Cardinal now.

Damn, thats Tyrann, Pat, and Craig. lol haha Secondary is dangerous with A Cromartie, Pat, Deone Bucannon, Craig, Tyrann,

Um ... lawsuit for the NFL how? dude ran a 4.91/40 in the combine...they evaluated him like they've evaluated anyone else lol

Shut the hell up they didn't reach out to mine and hell read I said highschool talent not the big conference rejects for whatever reason

Uh didn't I say SU offered the kid who went to Alabama. We offered Jarvis Landry too. You do know his Brother is Gerard Landry who was All SWAC. We offered him when he had offers to FBS schools. Ain't our fault TXSU didn't offer your son.

Man the NFL ain't scared of no Lawsuit. Texas had no one drafted. Surely they had someone worthy. Michael Sam was tweener. He already was not thought of that highly by scouts.

The NFL already has Gay players. Lol.

I think Doss, Cox and Crowell found good places to land as UDFAs...hopefully, they'll make the 53-man roster and get some shine.

Bobby Wenzig p/k invited to Chiefs mini camp. When was the last punter or kicker in the SWAC to do that

WOW!

If only you'd waited until the draft was actually over before posting this:

Hey DCG, do you notice how quickly they jump on someone when you talk about SWAC athletes? See, they get quiet when it's proven that the MEAC and TN State are better than the SWAC. Not SEC vs. SWAC or Big 10 vs. SWAC, or even upper FCS vs. SWAC. HBCU Conference vs. HBCU Conference.

I guarantee they will be quiet when you go there. MEAC and TN State are getting it done. The SWAC is not.

...then maybe you'd have just a little more credibility when it comes to football knowledge. Next time, if I were you, I'd wait until the draft is over before you incorrectly post what the SWAC isn't getting done.

Um, nobody from the MEAC was drafted...
Two Tennessee State players were drafted: Kadeem Edwards in the 5th round and Demetrius Rhaney right after Michael Sam in the 7th...those were two of the four Ohio Valley draft picks (Garappalo and Powell being the others)

So the vaunted Tennessee State team you kneepad had two third-day draft picks while the mighty MEAC had zero...some dominance over the god-awful SWAC

Also, since y'all love the Southland also, NOBODY FROM THE SOUTHLAND WAS DRAFTED EITHER...
NONE FROM THE SIAC OR THE CIAA WERE DRAFTED EITHER!!!

THANK YOU!!!

I agree, and I too hope they can make the roster(s), as well as Wenzig. I would love to see SWAC players that recently battled on the gridiron (Armstead, Cox, Doss, Crowell, Wenzig) go up against each other again on the big stage! That would be such a good thing for the SWAC and all our HBCUs!

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE SWAC FOOTBALL ATHLETES!!! And congrats to TN State on their athletes! Best wishes!

256 and no SWAC players ...I blame the coaches and coaching...Barlow should have made that boy play more all over here in the SWAC resting on his laurel waiting to get to the 3rd year this is the shyt I am talking about it's all in the coaching

The 3 Time FCS Champ ND State had how many get drafted?
