It's my understanding that Bama State won the Cup from a meeting I went to this evening. That announcement actually came last weekend during an ASU Sports Banquet.

What I don't know off of the top of my head is indoor track and volleyball. However, I think at this point, it's probably closer than you realize......Like I stated, I believe baseball will take Bama State over the top.

Points for the cup comes from the tournament finish and not the regular season finish, so those basketball regular championships don't get you no points.

Looking that Asu has captured 6 of the 16 championships awarded so far gives them a good lead. You would also have to look at who is consistantly finishing in the top 4 to get those points.

In addition to the 6 championships, the Hornets finished 2nd in W Soccer, Bowling Men Cross Country, Men Indoor Track and Men Tennis. That's 5 second place finishes to go with 6 championships. A great year for Hornets sports teams!

I think bball is based on regular season finish (At least, I think thats how it was done in the past)
