2014 Alcorn FB Schedule

This does not happen two years in a row by mistake. Your coach is a coward who wants to inflate his record.

Really Dude. so you are saying we already have won the other nine conference games before the season even starts??......You can call ever coach a coward than!!! Can I call your coach a liar since 14 of his 19 recruits are from out of state!!!!...........YEAH......NEXT!!

Well yal talked about our schedule last year too and we still kicked all yal butts. We gave A&M that game and we were just flat against Bama State. Just step between them sidelines and talk with those pads

Really? But when we say this about the JSU game, ya'll don't wanna hear it. When you all played Alabama State AND Alabama A&M, ya'll were STILL in the SWAC race and you got whooped. When you played JSU, our bags were packed. Which scenerio would the team be more flat?

My coach has not had a full recruiting season yet.. and he said he was going to RECRUIT Mississippi first. That didn't mean he would sign mostly MS players. You can't sign scrubbs and you can't sign people who don't want to play for you.. nor can you sign kids who are not eligible.

They've been around for a long time. It's a small college and haven't had football for very long.

The college was founded in 1906 and started its first football program in 1907, but for some reason they decided to drop their football program after the 1968 season. After 30 years without a football program, from 1969 to 1999, they decided to bring it back in 2000. They've actually played LSU and Tulane before and have beaten schools like ULL, ULM, LaTech, McNeese, and Northwestern State back in the 40's and 50's. I believe when they started losing every game in the 60's, they decided to do away with their football program. Now Dennis Dunn is trying to make them a DIII powerhouse. And with them scheduling Alcorn, I'm pretty sure they are looking at making a jump to DII. Mary Hardin-Baylor in Texas is the team they struggle with the most in their conference.

Relax fans... I know you guys are super ready for a "powerhouse" schedule.... I keep telling y'all.....patience... Have some, please! Many of you are still mad that you lost to us last year, and you were hoping that we'd be arrogant and jump the gun right away with scheduling more larger out of conference schools this year. You wanted this so we'd be at risk to getting beat up really bad. But nope.....we were 10 steps ahead of you. Alcorn's dream schedule will come in the right season....no doubt. The only thing each of you should be concerned with is what's gonna happen to "you" on yo game day. Amen?!?! Case in point: if you lost last year, you shall lose again. And if you defeated us last year, bring your A game this year if you wanna win again.

save that bs. whether you had your bags packed or not you still had a darn game to play. hell su is banned from going to the big dance this year yet their men and women bball teams still won out. excuses is like an a** hole. I was always taught you play no matter, leave it on the field. guess yal played hard in Houston with yal bags still packed and yal RB couldn't stay on the field for yal to win

Then you shoulda just said Bama State beat the shit out of Alcorn and left it at that. Save that "flat" crap.

And if you ain't from Louisiana, chances are you've never heard of Louisiana College.

fam now you know I aint the for excuses. that's not how we roll. yea we got our butts kicked by bama state. hell we always have trouble with the dam bama schools for some reason. now with thay being said fam......was your bag packed too lol

Based on the schedule and Alcorn is being accused on scheduling down then no conference team should worry about loosing to them.

Yeah my bag was packed, but I still expected us to handle y'all. Getting kicked to sleep like that was unacceptable.

Wait.. but YOU are the on one talking about Alcorn played flat vs AlaState. If you can't say the same for JSU vs Alcorn, just say Alabama State kicked your azz. Honestly, AAMU kicked your azz worse.. AT HOME.. Also, your analogy is incorrect. SU men lost 2 games in recent weeks including their last one. Try again.

They gonna handle you this year too. You will be in 3rd place AGAIN! ..maybe even 4th. 5th if Valley put them thangs on ya'll like they almost did last year. At the end of the day.. Alcorn is STILL Alcorn.

And i know fort valley backed out from us so instead of us playing them for our HC, we are playing UAPB and added some damn school Central Methodist to our schedule. Lord help us all lmao

Yep. We had to scramble to get that school after FVState wanted more money to come to BR. I actually like that we will be open in the middle of the season now and Homecoming isn't the week before the JSU game. Don't like the opponent we had to add. But we got them sandwiched in between ULL and NW La State. So having one cream puff as basically a buffer in between playing those schools is not bad. Especially with late notice. Alcorn will get two scrimmages though.

Uh Dude SU had won 5 games in a row before losing this last game. LOL. Don't make it seem like it was 2 losses within a week of each other. The UAPB loss with Feb 15th and the TxSU loss was Saturday March 8th. One week short of it being a month. The teams played hard like he said even when they knew they were banned. It did not stop them from winning the regular season. They could have gone in the tank.
