last year PV had to play thru Saturday and they came out hot on Sunday as if they get to Sunday..the #1 starter will see time

But by looking at both teams now and pitching, both will have throw someone they did not plan on using so I expect runs to be scored today unless someone comes out of nowhere

Wasn't that the case when they were in Houston at Baseball USA?

No, the field that they played on was the only one that size. The other one has shorter dimensions down the line and in the power alley.

Sends e-mail to braintrust to move PV-SU football game to ft worth.

Why, lately we've played them in Houston, Shreveport and Baton Rouge and won.

JayRob, Let it go man!!!!! I have yet to see you follow any other posters from any other school like you follow SU.

So has the rest of the conference, including JSU has been living through "the West" when it comes to baseball. And even though the teams from the West division has won the most championships in recent history, is very evident the teams from the East division have become more competitive. (Thanks Bama State) For so long, it was J-State and the rest. Now, everyone in the SWAC is putting an emphasis on baseball....not just SU and JSU.

Panther88, the steal home was a good, no great play by Bama State. Melendez is showing he knows schemes and when to execute plays. It was 2 outs and 2 strikes on the batter. Everyone was caught off guard....including the umpire (in my opinion). The pitch was slightly low but down the middle. No one from PV yelled at the pitcher or catcher of what was going on. SU tried the same thing against AAMU. The runner had home plate but the batter called time...

Has anyone been following JSU or Bama State's baseball in person? J-State pitchers have done a great job so far. Just giving up only 9 runs and only a few errors is proving as to why they were the best team in the conference.

Bama State and PV are nearly identical. Both teams are scrappy and both continue to put pressure on defenses. But now, it will come down to pitching. PV is playing their 5th game of the tourney today. And JSU is resting, waiting.

Day 4 is here.

If Bama State wins, I'll tell you about it but if PV wins, it'll be a moot point.

GO BAMA STATE!!!:emlaugh:

How's that record helping you NOW?!:smh:
And even more important, when was the last time....awww nevermind.:snicker:

What about since 2004?

Well all I can say is that the SWAC as a whole has gotten competitive. Not just baseball but every sport and just how everyone feel about basketball I want the best team repping the SWAC in the NCAA tournament. I know if we would have won we would have went to LSU anyway and god knows what happened early this season. :lmao:

Sorry about that. This is the 2nd time I've slighted TSU of championships (i've made the correction) I promise I didn't do it on purpose to make DCG talk. :emlaugh:

2005 was the first time we offered the full allotment of scholarships. 2004 and before, we offered 5.5 or less schollies.

Candy was never paid more than 13k per year until Charles came and assigned him to a new role.

3 SWAC West schools have won multiple championships and 10 out of the last 12 championships combined. Jsu has a chance to break into the double digit 2000's club this year...

If they win, they will find some way to make people believe they have always dominated in baseball.

Lately no one seems to have dominated anything in baseball so there goes your flawed theory. Enjoy the game tomorrow no matter who you're rooting for.

Where did you read that I said that a team has dominated in baseball lately? Did those aliens screw up your reading comprehension capabilities? (Please see my post in Small Talk under the Alan Keyes topic) :emlaugh:
