QUEEN LIONESS!!!
I don't know about that......I expect the faithful few (UAPB) to be at Mumford. Everyone is too busy getting ready for homecoming. One of the alum I know who charters a bus sent out info on whether the GLF would like to to go BR or Houston (for the TXSU game) and everyone basically chose Houston! I'm like "REALLY? SERIOUSLY? HOUSTON?"
:angry: Knowing how everything went down last year, knowing how this game will be one of the deciding factors for us.......and they chose HOUSTON?:kaioken: She's even taking a bus to Grambling......Grambling is less than 4 hours away from Pine Bluff.......Baton Rouge is roughly 5.5 hours away from Pine Bluff.......:xeye:

I hope I'm wrong; Lord knows my boys will need all the support they can get for this game! We really need our alum and fans to be in BR for this one!

If it were a 2pm start time...I think more UAPB fans would probably show! For me just wondering what is the deal with these 6pm start times? I know the JSU game was usually a 2pm game or so but that was scheduled at 6pm also.

Not hardly. I guess you didn't read the part where I said everyone is preparing for homecoming, which starts the Sunday after our game with SU.
There is no reason for any of the PB folks to be scared to travel to Baton Rouge or visit Mumford stadium. Unless you're trying to say the Jags and the Jag Nation has something planned for our team and fans........?????

I saw it. But a real fan will travel and come to all the games. It's like some HBCU folks only circle HC and that is it. As far as the Nation, I'm not sure how others plan on treating the UAPB faithful that will be attending the game but if UAPB football team plan on committing dirty personal foul penalties it will more then likely get ugly once again.

I agree, which is why I said that "I expect the faithful few (UAPB) to be at Mumford". Again, our homecoming follows immediately after our game with SU, so it is more logical and sensible that more people would put their $$$ toward travel and events for our homecoming. Maybe everyone doesn't have the $$$$$ to put toward a trip to BR and for homecoming; I don't know. I just know that I'm doing everything I can to come so I can see my child and see my team.
As for my team committing dirty personal fouls.......there isn't one team in this conference who has not committed any personal fouls. But we have worked on decreasing our penalties and have managed to minimize them down to 4 in the game against JSU. Fouls are committed in football, true, and we do need to continue to work and decrease ours; but to suggest these are "planned"?
Our main focus is to come to Mumford, play football for 4 quarters with less penalties as possible, and travel back to PB. Nothing more, nothing less.

Alcorn St. @ Prairie View = Two teams that are not any good playing each other. Alcorn has shown some life the last two weeks, I have to go with my second favorite SWAC school!
Ms. Valley St @ Jackson St = JSU is going to show Valley that we ain't Grambling!

I was about to ask the same thing. I first assumed it was the Virginia Cavaliers as the same school that Ralph Samson played for. Then I said to myself, "self, something ain't right." All these folks picking Grambling to win, wassup with that? Then I did some research and found out it was some school out of Lynchburg. They are not even an NCAA or NAIA school. The are a part of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association which I have never heard of.
