2007 thru 2010 FAMU Football Schedules

I must have missed something because I-AA or FCS officials voted down the 12-game proposal a few weeks ago.

Some years you get to schedule 12 games.... the proposal was for it to be every year. Now it is only in years when there are a certain number of Saturdays between Sept and Dec.

The key word is working on a deal. Maybe the FAMU folks are just negotiating until they get the final word on what the MEAC is going to do. Nothing has been announced like the 4 year SU deal or the fact we know they play Tn State every year. So if MEAC commish announces a 9 game conference schedule then that negotiation between ASU and FAMU will moot. ASU AD better wait till he sees what the MEAC gone do. I wouldn't sign no contract unless I could be assured the game would not be cancelled because of conference obligations. I am sure the ASU AD and FAMU AD are hoping for the MEAC to just have 8 conference games.

I doubt if FAMU would go for it. Would be nice though.
