First off, OU isn't going to hurt their strenght of schedule by playing a D1-AA team. Secondly, those schools don't have to pay FAMU half as much since the are now D1-aa.

AAMU is playing the full 9 game mandated schedule.

SU will be repaid on Oct 15.
Now out of all 9 games on your schedule, that's the one you most worried about. Sad.

So tell us MD, if the SWAC office is suppose to be making out the conf. schedules for a five year span, how is it that AAMU can choose who they play before everybody else? And move a major rivarly date to do it no less. :ebrow:

Because we recognize the SWAC Office is in charge. We don't do things on our own like some schools without the advice of the SWAC Office.

Has anybody ever notice that's its always these newbie schools that are casuing the problems. First the bama didn't won't to help with getting the schedule back right after Rudy left so that we wouldn't have to travel there twice in one year, then they turn around and tried to get a petition started to go against the SWAC mandate while all the while condeming those that did.

Every time you look they're trying to demand something and it always disturb the normal flow of things.

Think about it, did we have any of these scheduling problems before the newbie schools came into the conference? Now here comes good old MD trying to dismantle a long tradition of S.U. vs JSU on the second week of Oct. :shame:

I think we're learning that when you're forced to play 8 and 9 conference games, your homecoming opponent isn't an indication of how much you respect that particular team. Its simply a matter of who you can fit in the schedule on that particular date.
