AAMU- bring back the band i'm used to seeing. I hope you all clear up the issues over there but I will give the benefit of the doubt because its not the students fault. So this season I'll give the Bulldogs an "under construction".

......I guess you refering to our numbers; because thats the only thing that was lacking.

You sho, you want that to happen? The sound didnt change; volume decreased just a Lil'bit Bruh if we get those numbers back, like I be telling Yvette......game over!

I don't mean to come off arrogant but, to me ,The Grambling Band is like the James Brown of marching bands.

Yep, I can agree with that....

3/10/73 - 12/8/04 :lmao: :lmao:

Honestly, I've always referred to them as the "MC Hammer" of Bands!!!

It wouldn't be game over. Numbers shouldn't be a factor.

.....of course not, this I know. Numbers will only make us more lethal...we already got our "technique" down; so yes IMO game will be over!

I just have'ta speak in the language that, that "other" school can only understand. They finally got numbers, they figured out that they can get house by exploiting "fat chicks" in front of the band.....now they think they are the best thing since slice bread.

NESS.

Numbers ain't got nuthin to do wit it and I've said that a gazillion times. :shame:

Me and Kreme done did our time.........I am forever a BANDSWOMAN.........I was a bandhead before MMH and I was MMH before anythang else, so I reserve the right to sit back and praise/criticize other bands.

Fat chics ain't got shat to do with it. :read:

....hmmmph! So if thats how you feel then, what was A&M problem this year?

H*ll....in Bama State logic, numbers matter and doing whatever it takes to get house; even if it means rolling on the field a crackhead in a wheelchair wit Cerabal Palsy doin the matrix, while the hype man say "Go Ron-Ron Go Ron-Ron....." ~State crowd goes wild~

You know how yall is...dont you act!

All the Juke need is 48 and we could still take out any band in the SWAC. It has been done before. Now SU with 200+ that's game over better yet that's doomsday.

Hey, if the crowd likes it!! I might not agree with it......just like the "Thiller" routine at MCC 2003- I didn't like it, but the crowd LOVED it.

From what I gather now, the crowd LOVE da fat chics and have made several requests to Mr. O to see them again. It's what the crowd likes.

You even said yourself that MMW didn't get much crowd response this year........$hyt, give da people what they want........even if it means branging back the baby bulldawg doing the 64 counts of pelvic thrust!!! :lmao:

You all sound good......there's no denying that..........but when I see ya'll on the field, I don't see the drive, the energy, no crunkness. The best halftime show I've ever seen from AAMU was CCC 1990.....when you, Jazz, Frank and nem were in the band.

I guarantee u that our 48 would whoop AAMU's ass

I won't even get into what would happen on the field....smh

 Seems to me like you already have. I won't get into this either. But to say that Bama St has copied Grambling.......I will let some else step IN.
I still hold true to my convictions about that entrance in 93.

ps......for you to be a seasoned person in the Band. :| The Univ. of Michigan started the double-time, not FAMU.
For the moment,....I will stand down from my previous statement regarding this matter. :smh: I got films on Michigan State and you might be right. :smh:

Uh mer ruh..........I was in the band that year and I have a very good copy of that tape..........we don't look SHAT like GSU and never have.

We did that same entrance from the sidelines like we been doing; how da hell it look like GSU??? Hell, we never seen GSU in person until 2001. :shame:
ASU seen them in 1985 in ATL. Danny Davis seen them in Yankee Stadium in 1987 when he was at Central State in Ohio. He even came over and made a long speech in the middle of the game. Hmmmm

Danny B. Davis was our director at that time- a FAMU Graduate. No affilliation with GSU whatsoever.
um hum

1985, huh?? I've watched an entire 1985 season tape of ASU and I don't recall that show........time for me to email the old heads again. :xeye:

Danny Davis may have very well seen them in 1987.......but he didn't come to ASU until 1988.

And I meant that ASU has not seen GSU since 1991 in Detroit. Is that better??

2001 was my very first time seeing GSU in person when they came to Montgomery.

We can keep this going........I have nothing but time on my hands. :rolly:

 Sorry but,...I'm out of time and I'm throwing this case out of court.
It's not worth the tax payer's money.

Case dismissed!!!

Sorry,...I just can't sit by and watch one of our own make statements of this kind with no facts. No knowledge of history. I will say it over and over again,....you can't know where you are going unless you know where you've been.

Then,... the thing that really makes me very angry  is the things that other bands got from us in the past,.....the young folks don't do anymore and those are some of the things that put us on the map. They are ignorant to the fact that we invented it,....yet, they think they are copying. :smh:

Again!!! I say ,... "you can't know where you are going unless you know where you've been".

Remember one thing, WE (Grambling) are the first to do many things that going on now and that all that matters. Just sit back and watch.

Thanks and ness too....who shows have we done wdf!!?

Who show you copied, well im not gonna say you copied the steps, but the music that yall played was exect from ours, i guess thats why you guys got boo-ed off the field when you guys were here.

but you guys are still good.

;) For you to know so much about us, it seems that you are still mistaken. The only Dir. we had from Gsu was Harold Bray who came in 1995. We've taken no traits whatsoever from GSU. Key point,
YOU STARTED NOTICING us using it in the early 90's. And we don't come on the field like Grambling. We "Bring it on". Ask someone what that means. :lecture: and futhermore, the BD at that time was Danny B. Davis which worked under Prof. Lyle and both came from FAMU:

just a lil fyi: Bama St. past Band Directors:

Thomas E. Lyle- FAMU Alumni
Danny B. Davis- FAMU Alumni
Harold Bray- GSU Alumni
Ralph Chapman- SU Alumni
James Oliver- Bama St. Alumni (current Dir.)

just watch yesterdays tape, it says alot.

I didnt see ASU, i SAW Gramblings field show being performed by ASU, i guess whats why you guys may have been confussed with the marching.....

Like I asked you in the other thread........what in da blu hell are you talkin about?? :|

Fugg it.......I'm gone to bed.......I think I've gotten my point across pretty clear on this topic. Point blank- ain't nobody in dey right mind stole shat from GSPoo. Ever.
