These two guys protected Eugene's broad backside all season long. Also provided key leadership as the only two returning offensive starters on the squad

OL-Gary Jenkins-Southern, 6-3, 290, Sr., New Orleans, LA
OL-Robertville Louis-Alabama A&M, 6-1, 288, Soph., Tampa, FL
OL-Mario Branch-Miss. Valley State, 6-7, 330, Sr., Greenwood, MS
TE-Gershone Jessie-Grambling State, 6-4, 230, Sr., Houston, TXActually a junior in eligibility...really came through this year as a pass-catching threat. A backup last year in our smash-mouth philosophy, the shift to a pro-style offense was suited to his skills
WR-Tramon Douglas-Grambling State, 6-1, 205, Jr., Baton Rouge, LA Truly and awesome season...I've been posting in the forum about this kid for the past two years. Was highly recruited out of high school but just waited his turn behind some experienced and talented receivers. Good Hands, Good speed, runs good routes and read defenses like a quarterback. Should win All-American (1st team) honors
WR-Cortez Hankton-Texas Southern, 6-2, 200, Sr., New Orleans, LA
QB-Bruce Eugene-Grambling State, 6-1, 230, Soph., New Orleans, LAAwesome numbers...the most prolific offensive numbers in the nation. Should also be a consensus All-American
RB-Tarnaka Counslor-Jackson State, 5-9, 178, Sr., Clarksdale, MS
RB-Kenneth Peoples-Southern, 5-11, 210, Soph., Winston-Salem, NC
P-David Beckford-Alabama State, 6-1, 185 Sr., Hollywood, FL

DEFENSE
DL-Robert Mathis-Alabama A&M, 6'0, 227, Sr., Atlanta, GA
DL-Willie Gray-Grambling State, 6-0, 285, Jr., New Orleans, LA A perennial selection who came back after missing first four games...a great run stopper who brings a good push up front. A pre-season All-American who didn't disappoint!
DL-Joseph Crear-Miss. Valley State, 6-3, 260, Sr., Moss Point, MS
DL-Ronnie Nunn-Prairie View A&M, 6-0, 223, Sr., San Antonio, TX
LB-Elgin Andrews-Jackson State, 6-1, 248, Sr., McComb, MS
LB-Jamaal Ware-Alabama A&M, 5-10, 205, Sr., Lanett, AL
LB-Cedric McDonald-Miss. Valley State, 6-1, 230, Jr., Sosa, MS
DB-Chris Brown-Grambling State, 6-3, 200, Sr., Zachary, LA Proved that he is more than "a scrub put in the game to slap Michael Hayes". We tried to tell yall two years ago that this kid was a future All-American. Look for him to go early in the draft and play on Sundays
DB-Tyrone Parsons-Alcorn State, 5-9, 160, Jr., Memphis, TN
DB-Oliver Celestin-Texas Southern, 6-1, 200, Sr., New Orleans, LA

RB-Karrell Charles-Grambling State, 5-9, 200, Jr., St. Francisville, LA Really stepped up as a replacement to Brad Hill. Although often overlooked in our pass oriented offense, he really produced when called upon. Does an excellent job picking up blitzes and making himself available out of the back field. A good runner who is extremely good in the red zone...but capable of breaking off long runs for touchdowns.

DL-Deon Deboise-Jackson State, 6-1, 290, Soph., Shuqualak, MS
DL-Antwan Lawrence-Grambling State, 6-1, 280, Sr., Brunswick, GA A pre-season All-Swac choice who could have easily been first team. A former defensive end, who move to defensive tackle last year and moved back and forth this year as the team rotated in and out less experienced players. A solid leader who has the ability to play on Sundays. Good feet for an interior defensive lineman

One more note===> How in the hell did Earl Cochran not make first team...That dude is a beast! Lenard Mack, second team?

I'm just as surprised as you Mike. Earl should have been there and so should Antonio Hill. I swear the SWAC has something against ASU.
