This is historical. For the first time ever two sisters are ranked first and second in the world. Add to that the fact that they are sistahs, and what you have is validation. And they say tennis is elitest....not anymore.


This has been a year of validation for the black woman. First the report that links all human origin to one Black woman, "EVE"(although we always new that, everyone has to except it now). Then the bobsledding sister won a gold medal, and Halle won an oscar, now the Williams sisters are 1 & 2...what's next?

Those yuppies i.e. Chris Everett, Bud Collins, John McEnroe are very afraid of the Williams' sisters because they are REAL. They don't have to skin and grin for the media.

Venus is in THAT ZONE. I don't think she can be beat. She will beat Serena in straight sets. She has an edge over Serena.

Richard predicted it. Everyone thought he was crazy!!! I'm just glad that they can beat the hell out of Martina Hingis now. I HATE HER!!!
