¿Why no love for SWAC basketball on this web site?

Texas Southern just beat Michigan State, a top 25 FBS school on the road. Not neutral floor.

But it's gets thrown into a thread called SWAC basketball.

A swac school can play a low level FBS school in football. There will be a thread about the contract. There will be a thread about booking hotels and what to do in that city. There will be a pregame thread. There will be a thread about the game.

Look at how many threads there are about Jenkins and Alabama State. So it's more important to the MOD's on this board that a SWAC school stole a good MEAC football coach who outside of FIU (worst team in FBS), couldn't beat a PWC.

Yet when a team actually does something great like winning a money game, it gets no love on this forum.

I had to go to espn.com to find out Texas Southern beat Michigan State. You would never know about this big time victory from coming to the SWAC page message board.

¿What's up with that?

It is kinda Funny this game didn't get its a upset alert Started... But I know you seen the UCLA Kentucky having its own Show on here....

I typically wouldn't waste the time to address a post/threads like this, but seeing how you've done nothing but contradict yourself in just about everything you've said in your initial post, I found it entertaining enough to chime in.

See, that part is a lie. We were talking SWAC basketball BEFORE the game between TSU and Michigan State game even tipped off. All games were previewed and discussed for the week in which those games were played. But I'm sure you know this already. This is nothing new. We've been doing this for while now. And when it was learned that TSU defeated Mich. State, there were many who took the time to congratulate the team on the win...including a story that was posted on the front page.

And if nothing else, I could have sworn Texas Southern was a member of the SWAC. Thus, Texas Southern was included in the discussion of SWAC basketball.

It's my understanding that Jenkins left BCU to take the job Bama State. Nobody "stole" anything.

And it's incredibly imbecilic to attempt to classify FIU of somehow being "outside" the lines of a "PWC" when that's exactly what it is. To say that Jenkins "couldn't beat a PWC" is simply not accurate. That would indeed be a lie considering that Jenkins defeated two PWCs this year...FIU and Florida Tech.

You may be entitled to your own opinions, but you are not entitled to your own facts.
 
We congratulate each on any OOC win on this site. Hell just go to the SWAC BASKETBALL thread and see for yourself. There were THREE big OOC wins this week (UAPB, Jackson State, TSU) and each team was shown love.

No need to start a new separate thread when all the threads will be lumped together

I ask the question why can't Texas Southern win get's its own thread? Next i'm accused on being "on" something by one MOD. Then I'm called liar by it's owner for speaking the truth. ¿Guess it starts, from the top, huh?

1. Fact. TxSU's win over doesn't have it's own thread. I think it should. Sorry if you don't feel the need to highlight that on this message board.

It's not Kenn's job to highlight ANY school on the message board itself. He provides this great platform. If the members, like you, want to start threads, fine.

In fact, if you want to provide content for us, feel free. We are always looking for contributors.

But you won't do that, right?

And that too is a lie. I didn't call you a "liar". You, in this very thread, said...and this is a quote, "tell me I'm lying."

I simply obliged. I told (and proved) that you were in fact "lying." I simply gave you what you asked for.
