Thomas is a bully on the court no doubt. But as you pointed out Clark is a brat and manipulator. She initiates a lot of contact and then flops and flails all over the place. Tight defense frustrates her.

I don't like Clark's antics at all. I think she cries and pouts too much. She has taken her fair share of abuse on the court. The WNBA in general is dayum near streetball. I think the biggest problem is inconsistency.

They didn't even call a foul on the play Clark got hurt then they gave Sophie a tech for pointing.

I think they play better without her. They seem to be able to play freely and get more players involved in the offense not to mention her defense is horrible.
 
That young lady didn't ask to be "The Great White Hype" but I see the media isn:t going to let go of the circus they've created. The WNBA is a very physical league so the media driven circus around Clark is here to stay.

Hornet, I think this goes deeper than what happened with Alissa. Every since the manufactured Reese/Clark rivalry some have decided they either don't like one or both of them. At times neither can do right even when they're the one being wronged.

This is true. Fans and media like to push narratives with them, even though they both have expressed not caring about the conversation.

This I agree. I hate how it has to be a for or against convo now with Reese and Clark. You can't give fair critiques. I like Angel Reese. She plays with a high motor. However, she cant shoot worth a dayum. She be just throwing the ball up. That doesnt make her a bad player, its just the truth.

Clark, one of the best passers in the WNBA and she has been a great shooter (not so much this year). She doesn't play defense and is turnover prone.
 
I tend to watch WNBA games on some of the youtube streams. I would have Mark Cuban, Elon Musk, Trump and Oprah money for how the chats become nothing but Clark or Angel or BOTH war threads within in minutes of the game starting.

And here is the kicker-I am seeing this on games where neither one is playing.

The media is to blame for this great white hope in Clark nonsense. It's like they forgot about all the straight white females that were already there. It is pure hate for every single black female or LGBTQA female (shockingly NOT the white ones). They have fueled this fire.

Folks act like they want a straight white woman WNBA league led by Clark.
 
This Clark-mania began in college. Before Clark there was Sabrina Ionescu but for some reason it did not work. Many of the really good caucasian women players are lesbian going back to Sue Byrd, Tarasi, Breanna Stewart and even the head coach of the Las Vegas Aces. They are struggling to find their champion and they don't want to face the fact that Clark may not be the one. She can be stifled with tight defense (Raven Johnson wrote the script on how to defend her two years ago). That is why she developed that long range shot to get the spacing she needs. Watch her game and see how she handles tight defense...she pushes off and grabs the defender and feigns being fouled. None of the other white women I mentioned above do/did that. She is really good at catch and shoot but play tight defense and she struggles.

P.S. When your coach yells at you (using expletives) during a game to play defense that says a lot.

1) Sabrina is everything who they think Clark is. As far as on the court, the Fever plays much better without her as others have pointed out. The coach knows this as well which is why she chewed her out publicly

2) I've pointed this out for YEARS on this board. From Diana to Elena Della Donne to even Paige today. The WNBA definitely panders to the Alphabetical🏳️‍🌈 crowd (to a fault even now). Having Clark and Reese (both heterosexual) helped them out big time (and it helped A'ja Wilson out as well who is also straight and the best player in the world). Clark is their Straight White Hope. A lot of her "fans" aren't basketball fans but just fans of that image ignoring how flawed of a player she is. Many are suggesting that she go to Europe and make the WNBA suffer not realizing they're more physical over there lol. Plus teams like Golden State and Atlanta are selling out without her

I don't know if the WNBA panders as much as it attracts. The problem (if it is a problem) is that overwhelmingly the better players are homosexual. It is not just the players...many of the female coaches are homosexual also.

HONESTLY it doesn't.
It's just an accident most of your stars happen to be LGBTQA+. You talk to them and interview them and show what they are active in-guess what you get?

We don't see this with the men. Do we see any of them doing stuff for LGBTQA+? I can think of one player outside of Jason Collins. It's mainly women's sports supporting and defending LGBTQA+.

Nobody is trying to keep women out of MEN'S sports. We got football leagues with female kickers.

And this is a result of you playing in the summer and not during the normal basketball season fall through spring.
You are missing a TON of players who chose to go overseas and want a BREAK from playing like the men get. They do not want to play year round.
Because that is what so many were doing and getting burned out.
