NCAA Rule Changes

I seem to recall a football player last year who had been playing something like 8 yrs due to injuries. Would that be possible under these new rules?

My only reservations are that this sets up for more pouching between fcs , g5, and P4s. Yeah, spring games might go away in exchange for team on team scrimmages but them dirty jokers gone scout your best , pitch your best, and take your best. They’re just getting a head start with it.

And I hope our young people know that jumping into a tighter portal window don’t mean you’re going to get picked up. If you weren’t all-conference first team or on the all-American list, you need to bring your behind back for another year. Folks being 2nd and 3rd on the depth chart with minimum stats talking about I left for better opportunities… with what game tape? Nobody want to see a practice tape over a proven commodity. Then you explaining to mama and them why you had to drop down to D2/D3 from D1.

Our top 2 WRs from last year hit the portal. Neither had 600 yards.

One made a lateral move to Nicholls while the other didn't get picked up

You leave from a place where you started to most likely be depth somewhere else

We'll see for sure on 8/27
