2026 NCAA Tournament

Congratulations to both SU & PV for making it this far & PV bringing home the extra pay check, but damn!

Respect to Howard men and women for showing up and competing hard also.

Great run by PV!

IMO, the conference needs to take a hard look at the SWAC tourney setup (especially lower seeds) and overall preseason scheduling by some teams. I know the $2M per round to share between 12 teams sounds real good.

However, PV had to play 6 games in 10 days, when you add the play in and 1st round games. Also, a couple of those days were travel.

Just a thought!
If you want to stop a team like PV from doing this "BEAT THEM"

Sorry, that is not where I was going.

Just think the deck was stacked against PV with so many games right BEFORE the NCAA tourney.

We understand that you weren't intending to attack PV in anyway, but they beat the #1, #3 & #5 seeds to advance. They didn't backdoor their way into the tournament. Another reason I like only 8 teams going to the SWAC tournament. Maximum of 3 SWAC tourney games to advance to the dance.

Nice run by SU!!

Unfortunately, there is a huge disparity in women BB at the top level.. lot more than Men.

The sport is currently owned by 6 teams. They practice against decent male competition.

Not sure if anyone in the SWAC does that right now.
that's all women's sports - always top heavy and forever will - like that at all levels

male practice players aren't making much of a difference - those girls were already good

It’s not even the males. They just stack all the talent. I just moved from Columbia and knew some people there. All Dawn has is five stars visiting and the drop off from them to 4 and 3 stars is tremendous.

That's exactly what they're doing

The same thing UConn did during their run and Tennessee before them

Women's basketball has been top heavy for at least 20 years now with no relief in sight

The top men's and women's teams play aggressive, physical basketball, and the refs allow this style of play. The SWAC's passive play, just cannot compete.
Correct - Trigger happy SWAC refs would foul out the entire team if they played aggressive. 😂

Interesting drama towards the end of the SC and UConn women's game....

This has all been good...

Love DAWN - a Philadelphian, she did not back down from the white man!!!!

She spoke the truth! I am so proud of you and congratulations on BEATING DOWN UCONN!

Geno was on his maga behavior. At his age, he looked every bit like Trump with all that pouting and walking alone off the court.

If Dawn had acted even halfway as he did print and TV news media would have vilified her. A two to three day narrative would have been structured around bad sportsmanship, suggestions about her being a bad example for her players and a prime example of everything college basketball doesn't need during the tournament Final Four.

Don't even get me started on what would have happened if a black male coach had done the same to a white female coach. Calls for a public apology, suspension or termination would have been firing off at warp speed.
