Isn’t Sac State moving up to FBS. They spent a lot of money on players this past season.

They are stuck in FCS, as NCAA rejected their application to move up for a few different reasons. One of the reasons is they don't have a conference invite from an FBS conference. Part of their problem is that alot of the pledges for supporting their move up is tied to them joining the Pac-12 and simply put the PAC-12 does not want them. The mountain west is not an option for them because the big money donors want them to be in the Pac-12 and it does not appear they are willing to make good on their pledges if it means they are going into the mountain west.

Smith is wrong because they do have control-it's just a matter of time before they decide how much control they really have.

Sooner or later some MAGA in Congress is going to want to stop all that NIL going to BLACK boys. Even if that mean sacrificing some PWI to do so.

Sooner or later there will be levels at how much money you can get. Don't think they won't use what high school some of these kids come from to do that.
