Explain the culture to this honky.
I'm surprised the Band didn't hit him with the drums lol. At Grambling he would have gotten tackled. The band doesn't play about tradition and what is expected.Explain the culture to this honky.
I could give you a list of bands where he would have learned that day.I'm suprised the Band didn't hit him with the drums lol. At Grambling he would have gotten tackled. The band doesn't play about tradition what is expected.
Kickers are allowed to come back on the field to warm up at the 7 minute mark on the clock during halftime. I am in no way taking up for this fool because he could have been further to his left and kicking across the endzone rather than right in front of the band. Old head MMH would have undressed him right at that point.I got in to an argument with someone on X about this kicker.
The white guy was trying to say the kicker was allowed to practice.
I corrected him and explained that, 1) the band is allowed on the field until their time is up and if they go over, then their team gets penalized for delay of game, 2) the kicker is supposed to kick towards his end zone and not across the field, potentially injuring someone on the field or even on the other side of the field. 3) That dude can kick into a net, if its that serious.
He deserved to get ran over and knock around with a few brass instruments!!!
I was never in a band, but I don't tolerate disrespect.
That's the rule. The rule doesn't excuse the assault he committed. In Texas, where i practice, what he did was assault when he shoved that band member- misdemeanor A more than B because of a variety of factors between him and the move itself to do it.Kickers are allowed to come back on the field to warm up at the 7 minute mark on the clock during halftime. If you read my post, I said in no way was I taking up for him at all - I am a Bama State man thru and thru. I was only pointing out, as you stated, what the rules allow. There are a lot of people responding all over social media and had/have no idea that it is allowable for the kickers to come out and warm up at that point during halftime. And yea, when the dust settled, he should have been on the ground in his jock strap only with a well whooped ass. That's the rule. The rule doesn't excuse the assault he committed. Im agreeing with you on the rule. But his actions were assault- civil and possibly criminal- at least here. I question why and how he even thought it was okay or the Skeegee coach let it happen. If you read my post, I said in no way was I taking up for him at all - I am a Bama State man thru and thru.
