SU’s Next Head Coach

Come on man. After how PV treated Po Bubba with 2 1st place SWAC w finishes in 3 years. Right decision though.

I really like Teddy Keaton of Clark ,but he's fallen off a bit after he lost his QB from last season. If youre going DII he has to show a level of dominance like Pete Richardson , Berry or Jackson was doing. I'd be frustrated knowing that SU had Berry on the staff for nearly a decade.
Coach, Bubba never should have been a permanent hire. He was simply given the position w/out rational thought and proper vetting.

My question is who will be his coaching staff and what is the coach pool money looking like? As it make no sense to give Faulk alot of money and not increasing the coach pool money too.

You are right about Clark falling off a bit, but SIAC do have 3 schools in the conference that made the D2 playoffs this year.

Sounds familiar, same lack of thought process at my TSU. If an applicant didn't check the NFL box they were waisting time.

Southern does not necessarily need a "Celebrity" coach......just a Good coach. Take a look at PV.
its about infrastructure - hardly any coaches lose at PV as the basics are there to win consistently in football like SU and Grambling had in the 90s and 2000s - they can strictly negotiate with a coach about luxuries - not basics -

Certain places you have to fight over the basics such as facilities, etc. before you can even get to a true football conversation now

He's making 400K with a $660/month car allowance moving to 425K next season at Colorado.

Stop pocket watching SU😂😂 you will see numbers after thanksgiving. Trust this embarrassing season has rallied the Jaguar Nation. Not only a new coach is on the way but other new things as well we taking a page out of the Ashley Robinson/JSU playbook
What'chall got going on coach?! We PV. We y'alls brethren, the eldest 2 members of the SWAC. Father and son. lol

Forgot to give credit and no bullshit. SU's new turf @ the stadium is nothing short of first class. Y'all caused us to get new turf for 2026 at y'alls stadium on PV's campus. 👍

Wow. Say it with your chest like Al B Sure...🤣

Somebody send a mass email to the entire Grambling football program...as follows: "the geechees dont eem respect yall." That way Mr Faulk has motivation coming in to the Swac even though he aint swac, already...

PV literally showed ya'll the blueprint. All these D2 coaches out here that are excelling, why are you even entertaining Marshall Faulk lol.
That's how I would've went about it. If we hire Marshall Faulk imma just have a wait and see approach.
