Alabama State vs Alabama A&M Game Thread: 2:30pm CT

Patient is required in this game. Coach ERob has had 4 years to resurrect our program and the results were on exhibit yesterday. Shade has the A&M program headed in the right direction.
Sam Shade is already on the clock. There is no patients for coaches to win anymore.

While I hope he does a great job it's not fans like me he has to get to support the team. I am there rain, snow or sleet. I have been there when we lose and win. On the other hand folks in Huntsville are fickle. If they don't win this upcoming weekend the last two home games will be empty.

I know! You and I both understand the current state of play. I was just saying ERob came in and rebuilt our program after the terrible hires of Jenkins and Eley but it took time.

Respect to Bama State who have nothing to play for outside of pride unless J Sate slips up and loses a couple games . Every College division except the SWAC & maybe the Sunbelt(?) have gotten rid of divisions .
We all have to win out now. its a three man race again.

Body took it personal cause A&M forced him basically to miss 2 seasons - if that DB would've not touched him Body takes TSU to the championship game, he gone to a FBS school and graduated by now - but noooo - kid wants to play defense lol

see how karma works?

That's right. It was that A&M game.

Jenkins and Eley both had talent. They just couldn't coach it.

Also, A&M not having their starting quarterback didn’t help the situation.
Not only did we not have the starting gb, but Handley hurt his shoulder in the second quarter and could not throw properly. The third string qb was out on concussion protocol and could not play. We ended up playing the fourth string qb most of the second half. We also lost the first string running back early in the game.

Well, there's always next year.

Thanks. Let me go change my pick 😆

That sounds like a repeat of Bama State’s 2024 QB room!

Mane with a QB down I still pick Grambling. And not because they any good. Its hard to win in that hole.

Aamu don't have a problem winning there. Plus an aamu squad led by Quad Brown is dangerous. They look completely different without him as do we without Morgan. A 4th string qb ain't gone cut it lol

Now Nasty have you seen A&M defense? Grambling has a running back. Based on Shades assessment, they will not have Brown and they lost their best RB. With that defense smh.

That aamu team we faced was possibly the 4th/5th best team in the Swac (behind JSU, bama, and pvu). The defense was bad but opportunistic since the offense kept them off the field. Now that the offense is bad due to injuries the defense is worse. Injuries completely derailed that team

If this was year 3 for Coach Shade I would be in panic mode like most Bulldog fans. However, it's vital that we allow the process of recruiting talent, developing talent, and ensuring that we have the right coaches in place to compete. In addition, AAMU should send Coach Robinson a thank you letter for not completely running up the score. Bama State could have scored 100 points during that game. That was a class act by Coach Robinson. Congrats Bama State on the win.

Bulldog for Live!

I said back in May it would be year 3 before you really know. Recruiting and using the transfer portal at this level is a brand new skill he will have to learn.

That game was over at halftime, so it didn't really matter much.
