FAMU Club game experience

So SU and Annie Mae got the same LED's and lighting it up after each TD so what's special about the smallest of hills setup?

You know….let’s see what SU got…we already know what JSU has.
College football is after all entertainment. With every game being broadcast, what’s going to entice student body and local community to spend money and attend games. Every school better wake up and start planning for drop in attendance using fan engagement to bolster attendance. We know how attendance drops when certain SWAC teams visit our stadiums. All you have to is look at attendance for some of our contest. Club FAMU is a start for us…

Time will tell. We know what we are dealing with so we are smart enough to have a total fun experience. Most of the students aren’t football enthusiasts. We have some serious scholars with academics top of mind. I have 2 grand daughters there that are exited for the next game for the entertainment value. Believe me they are not football diehards. If you go online there all kind of posts, folks looking for SWAC tv. Mark this post and let’s see how attendance goes.

That's part of our problem, depency on the visiting team for attendance.
A JSU night game would kill that! WITHOUT the lights!
Is that why jsu haven't had any night games because of the lights? We know that 1 pole has been broken and not worked for years.

No official reason has been given for no night games but that pole has nothing to do with it. We have hosted, SU, BCU, etc.. with that light being out. Also, the battle of the bands was held the next day after the Hampton game, AT NIGHT.

They have used a temp bank of lights for recent night games so that's not it. I think its more a city safety thing. But I digress

Its because of the surrounding businesses in the area. They want more folks at restaurants etc. Im hoping those businesses are donating back to the university.

I guess you NEED some sort of entertainment when your football team sucks huh 😆 🤣 😂

well - why are our P4 white counterparts more diehard than us? that's the issue - they'll stop everything not to miss a game - but the same black person in the same region doesn't the passion all year around

our fellow FCS white counterparts don't care about sports for the most part for whatever reason -

also I think our schools are putting too much into Homecomings/classic games and what goes around it and our demographic only pays attention to that and their fine with it

Well yeah, I aint one to gossip.. lol BUT we have heard RUMORS that the governor does not want JSU to have night games because it comes with added expense and manpower. I believe the state pays for the Capital Police. Also, local businesses want the JSU games over early so our fans can have time to visit their establishments. Not sure why we that worried about them unless they are seriously lining our pockets. But hey, it's all rumors.
