Donald Trump warns Republicans about their "vacation"

President Donald Trump issued a new warning to Republicans on Capitol Hill over the passage of his "big, beautiful bill."

The Republican-led House and Senate are slated to recess next week for the Fourth of July holiday, though that plan may change as GOP leaders push to meet Trump's deadline to deliver the bill by Independence Day.

The Senate is currently advancing the tax and spending cuts package, which the House narrowly passed in late May. Aboard Air Force One on his way to the NATO conference at The Hague, Trump urged senators via social media to "lock yourself in a room if you must, don't go home, and GET THE DEAL DONE THIS WEEK," stressing cooperation with the House and insisting, "NO ONE GOES ON VACATION UNTIL IT'S DONE."

They were smart. The Dems don't have the numbers. It's a waste of time. The Republican party needs something to run off of. This isn't it

Why does NOBODY understand this? Especially black folks.

Too many folks want theater and not results.

Wanting theater is how we got TRUMP in the White House in the first place.

All this pollical theater does what? When you go PAST the antics of GOP and Trump and how many bills have they passed?

We are still under a budget amendment that Democrats passed. GOP can't pass a budget.

They have only passed 27 bills. Yet they have 724 votes in Congress.
Meanwhile 274 bills got passed into law under Biden.
Funny when you don't look for drama and pandering to the right stuff gets done.

Folks have to stop living off of tik tok clips.

Black Trump voters, look at what your self-hatred has done:

Trump Makes It Easier to Deport Haitians After Claiming They Eat Pets

The Trump administration announced Friday that it will soon end temporary protected status, or TPS, for Haiti. The move, set to take effect on September 2, would strip lawful status from more than 500,000 people, leading them to face possible deportation to the strife-racked country from which they fled.

The move reverses former President Joe Biden’s June 2024 decision to extend TPS for Haitians through February 2026.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has “determined that, overall, country conditions have improved to the point where Haitians can return home in safety.” (However, per the State Department’s ongoing advisory warning Americans against traveling to Haiti, the country is plagued by “kidnapping, crime, civil unrest, and limited health care.”)

A Pregnant Alabama Woman Says She And Her Trump-Supporting Husband Were "Blindsided" When ICE Detained Him

An Alabama woman married to an Iranian immigrant says her family regrets supporting President Donald Trump and his aggressive immigration policies after ICE detained her husband over the weekend as part of a recent round-up of Iranian nationals. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

“We believed in his [Trump’s] immigration policies and were completely blindsided and truly believed that only criminals were being detained,” Morgan Gardner told Newsweek. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Gardner’s husband, Ribvar Karimi, was one of 11 Iranian nationals arrested Sunday and taken into the custody of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The Department of Homeland Security claimed the arrests reflect its “commitment to keeping known and suspected terrorists out of American communities.” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I don't know what alternate reality many of the foreign nationals that supported Dump were in, but it must be hard for them to live with themselves now that the consequences have hit hard as hell at home.

The theater continues. One by one, the Senators who are against the BBB, get stuff added in for their state and they fold like a cheap suit. Susan Collins is the funniest to me, she always pretends that she does not support crazy stuff, they she folds like a cheap suit. Its not really folding, its theater for the masses. 🤣 🤣 🤣

Defense Department will stop providing crucial satellite weather data

The U.S. Department of Defense will no longer provide satellite weather data, leaving hurricane forecasters without crucial information about storms as peak hurricane season looms in the Atlantic.

For more than 40 years, the Defense Department has operated satellites that collect information about conditions in the atmosphere and ocean. A group within the Navy, called the Fleet Numerical Meteorology and Oceanography Center, processes the raw data from the satellites, and turns it over to scientists and weather forecasters who use it for a wide range of purposes including real-time hurricane forecasting and measuring sea ice in polar regions.

This week, the Department of Defense announced that it would no longer provide that data, according to a notice published by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, NOAA.

"I was surprised, given how important it is for forecasting hurricanes and monitoring important features like sea ice," says Brian Tang, a hurricane researcher at the University at Albany. "This is data that forecasters use regularly."
