Why Christian Church people voted for Trump could never talk about the Bible or God to anyone!

Christian Church people who voted for Donald Trump can never talk to anyone about God and justify it again in life. How could you call yourself a child of God and except and justify evil? Trump is a con artist, an adulterer, convicted felon and participates in immoral things. Amazing how people who call themselves children of God worship the devil and everything against the Bible. Especially black people! Maybe these black people worship the same church as the slave masters who would hang slaves and then go to church on Sunday morning. You are not of the same church as real Christians.

Eighty-five percent of white evangelical Protestants and 64% of Hispanic Protestants supported Trump, while 83% of Black Protestants backed Harris.

let that sink in. I have said time and time again white evangelicals don't believe or pray to the same God as minorities.

Which is why I will never understand how a Black person can attend a white church. Make all of the excuses and rationalizations you want but when you boil it all down you do not worship the same God.

Man white church people are some of the most racist people.....they use the Bible to justify white priviledge....I'm like hiw is Jesus white but from Africa and the Middle East?

Conversely, some express how Christians can vote for a Democratic candidate who supports, for example, LGBT rights and abortion or the "woke agenda" because those things apparently go against God and scripture. Religion and politics shouldn't mix because everyone (regardless of what party or candidate they support) eventually compromises their own beliefs.

Those people are disingenuous with those arguments and they know it, but they absolutely do not care. Some of us have said they are worshipping another god for a reason. The Lord came for all sinners not the so-called righteous. He also said in one of his final commandments to love one another. He left no distinction nor said unless they are this or that.

The notion that politics and religion don't mix isn't because they can't, it's because human beings are selfish creatures very prone to operating outside the spirit of truth.

The thing about the "spirit of the truth" is that every ones is different based on whatever religious doctrines they follow.

The problem with LGBT is that it was never a problem with religion until the Conservative position in America took place. Most Christians don't even know that the King James Bible referenced a lot in church service was written by a homosexual/bi-sexual King which was common in the area of his time. The woke agenda being fought against is the same as the evangelical Christian slave master who justified slaves and bondage for decades. The same Evangelical Christian Southern males who bombed black churches throughout the southern states during Jim Crow

Apples and oranges....super disingenuous.

Yes, and all too often corrupted by very selfish human impulses, some much more than others.

I lived in Turkey for a year, which you can imagine immersed me in a completely different culture where Islam was the predominate religion. By the time I left I had little doubt treating any man or woman with dignity and respect regardless of any preconceived or real difference is universally welcomed.

I will say it again, but this time I will preface it by saying, in my opinion, human beings are too selfish to operate in the spirit of truth and therein lies the problem why religion and politics don't mix well.

Somewhat off topic, but an obvious observation, politics itself is messy and has never been a good mix due to innate human selfishness.

A white pastor visited a Black church and the pastor of the church allowed the white preacher to have some words. The white preacher started talking about how happy he would be to get to heaven to see Moses, the Apostles, the prophets then he was going to go and see Jesus. The congregation was standing and clapping. Then he said after he visited all of those he mentioned he was going to visit his colored friends in the colored section of Heaven.
