Duncanville and DeSoto are both land-locked.

In fact, don't be surprised if DeSoto drops to 5A in the 2-3 years, as their enrollment is in decline.

DeSoto is scheduled to be 5A with the new numbers reported for the next 2 years but they were looking at opting up to stay in 6A!

Check some addresses of those kids and see who many REALLY stay in those two area.

Also if both are open enrollment districts-there are no boundaries as you can attend them as long as YOU as the parent can get them there.

Dallas and Garland ISD are open enrollment as well.
