No one ever said McKinney isn't a good recruiter. That's what his background is. He is known for being a very good recruiter.

He would've won more games with a stronger infrastructure quickly - Simmons, Dooley and McDowell were all first timers and they've been consistent - that's where TSU's program has to get to

you probably live in the Dallas burbs and seen the facilities they have - now try to bring them to TSU and think they'll sign?

Not sure what you want? You've seen Bill Thomas, Highsmith, Steve Wilson, Haywood, Asberry, Ramsey, etc. all fail for whatever reason - the one that won had to circumvent the system and it caught up with him so what does that tell you?
 
When has McKinney broken .500? All these straw man analyses up in here for a guy who's OC hampered his starting qb, dc who consistently played 3 DOWN LINEMEN IN A RUNNING CONFERENCE, dc who refuses to blitz...got off the gas offensively while soundly beating PV and didn't blitz when PV was making a comeback like an angry Joe Jackson after Michael buying wuzzams and tootsie rolls with his performance money...man NAW. These kids have done things IN SPITE OF HIM and he JUST now decided to aggressively coach against Alcorn 😐 because Chrimmuh us coming. I got clients like him who look me in the EYE and say "I didn't do x, y, z felony. Yes thats me on tape." 🤣😂 gone....GIT

New weight room is finished. Why did Wilson and Rod Paige win more than McKinney with same facilities? 😐
 
Why did Wilson and Rod Paige and others win more than McKinney with LESS SCHOLARSHIPS when we had all those eligibility issues and NCAA standing on our necks for recruitment, etc? Let's see a picture of Alcorn's "facilities" outside of that stadium (always beautiful btw) and compare the last 15 years.

Coaching a kid up is LITERALLY the coach's job. Add to that, that stadium wise we have a great stadium we play in despite the sideways hate and backhand comments about it. It's LITERALLY great for concessions and if we were winning it would have butts in comfortable seats. For the PV game all the suites were absolutely LIT, convenient and enjoyable. People want to blame not having gucci on for using Nike to run the same 4.5 40yd dash. He absolutely bears responsibility. And guess what...why take the job or KEEP IT if it's all the facilities issue? The other facilities he was in were TAMU and Yates. Who in the swac has comparable facilities to TAMU? Sense isn't being made here. I mean we COULD mow down all the rest of the black folk on 3rd ward and sweep that facilities stuff right where UofH did if we so wanted to but then he STILL wouldn't blitz on swac teams in the 4th quarter and talk about "it must be the parking situation"...cmon now...ya know what I know what it is. It's people like JRock and dem other Frenchies outta Red Stick. LaCumba is ALL OVER this conference...
 
JSU had no water and like FAMU this season they put holes on almost every single one of us that we didn't know we had. It was like when Jerry shot Tom and he leaked everywhere all confused. Is FAMU "facilities they reason they have had powerhouse seasons way before this? 😐 it's the person hired having that brain or finding a way to beat the brain on the opposing side. It is not rocket science and it is not easy but facilities are not a cure-all for ANY sport. Colorado was absolutely GARBAGE. What hbcu has facilities like them before Deion? Ever? And before someone tries to say "we don't know till we get those facilities", keep in mind McKinney almost beat Rice without these so-called facilities while also not utilizing a tight end. He just isn't that good of a coach so why does TSU have to be the school to shell money for him to learn on the job when he came from a dreamworld of funding? Who in this conference has lost to HCU? Man...if they only had the facilities...they could really do something in the swac, right? They must be just praying all over the southwest side of town and catching them passes...throw to Jesus, he don't got no weight room....

C, you don't have to go back that far? Bill Thomas.... Had the second highest winning % at TSU next to A. Durley with significantly less to offer than the current occupant.

They don't have no Weight room. They operating out of a couple of them metal portable classroom buildings they put outside schools for overflow classes and they kicked tsu's butt as a startup under McKinney. Hell no shade but they beat pv by like 30 this year. All while not having a weight room, locker room, or any other room that's not in one of those trailers. 🥺😢

Lies, the only one named above that is fully good in their job is Simmons. SU, wants Dooley gone yesterday. PV, is side eyeing McDowell too. His contract and tsu's win over Alcorn is his saving grace.

The stuff you say is so off color it's hard to respond to you. Look at TSU's roster Sir/Ma'am , tsu has at least 10 kids from DFW. Including from the Desoto state championship team. I don't know if you're ignorant, lazy or both.

Your boy has had 5 years to do just that and now his ass is on the way out the door. More than half the coaches in the swac would likely have run through the west with the talent tsu has. TSU jumped out the double digit leads in at least 3 games to later loose because of poor game management. With those 3 additional wins TSU would be playing in the swac championship.

PV was a joke and no aid when Thomas was coaching - lets not forget that - so he never had to worry about them / There was talent inside the Beltway and Loop when Thomas was coaching - he did a good job but when it crashed it crashed

Paige didn't win as much - check the ledger when the last title was won

PV got smashed by HCU - where you there?
