Andrew Body to make statement concerning status at Texas Southern

I wasn't trying to come at you some kind of way. I should have been much more clearer.

What I am getting at is Coach McKinney is the only one claiming a statement is forthcoming. He was asked directly about Body and punted the question to the young man with a claim that a statement was in the works. I'm wondering at this point has there been a communication break down between them.

"Greetings everyone. First, I would like to thank God, my mother, my father, my coaches at Texas Southern, and my Texas Southern family for being so supportive of me these last few years. I have truly enjoyed my time as starting quarterback for Texas Southern University. TSU is the greatest university and I am forever thankful.

I must make everyone aware that I suffered an injury earlier and have petitioned the ncaa for a medical exemption so that I can take the current year to fully rehabilitate my injury from the past surgery. Hopefully and prayerfully, this will come to pass.

And with that being said, I must make everyone aware of my intent to transfer to Prairie View A&M University to further my football goals and achieve what I need to ensure my future development and growth. Again, I am much indebted to Texas Southern Tigers and thank you all so much for allowing me bring glory back to Tigerland... You will forever be my family.
