So what if Deion was a Reality TV Social Media Circus as the Head Coach at JSU. They were busting SWAC arse and he was on a 16 game winning streak in the conference. I wanted to beat the hell out of JSU, but they were too good and better coached when my team faced them. The circus was the circus, but it was a damn good show that sold tickets and put out winning results.

While I am happy and proud of TC, one victory over a SCSU team that didn’t look in Conference Title form or contention doesn’t mean the actual team looked better coached. To be perfectly honest, JSU did what a two time defending conference champion is supposed to do to a declining coach who’s SCSU program went 3-8 last year. There is a long season ahead, and only time will tell if they are “better coached.”

Right now, JSU is 1-0 and hats off to them and TC.

Need to work on Red Zone and Better run plays but it was a good start for the season.
 
@NastyD I loved every second of that ass-wooping y'all put on SC State.

I never saw a SC State defense soooo out of sorts. Looks like they got that 1-2-3 Cancun in them.

But, I think it was you and I during the Prime era ... and I said y'all didn't run enough for my liking. Yeah it worked, but I'm just a fan of balanced, explosive offense. To each their own.

What I saw Saturday ... a willingness to dominate the LOS and let the running game dictate terms. Running game set up of the TDs when the safety got caught looking in the backfield and the WR was wide TF open.

Yea we were more finesse under CP on offense. He wanted to put up numbers for Shedeur. We didn't have the line to dominate under Prime. With the Air Raid our linemen were better at Pass Pro instead of run blocking. Plus our OL coach is way better than the former. It was good to see us dominate the LOS

True dat. Under CP, the running just looked to be secondary.

With Karlous Miler's cousin TC coaching (my joke, not someone else's) ... it seems it's a newer version of that late 90s run offensively.

Yeah but when it ended a short 2 years later it damn near devastated JSU football program. Most of the players and coaches left. A lot of the public interest he brought left as well. Luckily TC was seemingly good enough to not let the ship sink completely. Anybody in their right mind want long term success which Deion was not invested in at JSU ... TC is.

And TC's team look better for the simple fact that TC's ego dont overshadow JSU football and he don't have sons and a golden calf (Travis Hunter) to given preferential treatment over the rest of the team. For the most part it seems like everyone is treated equally which makes the team dynamic better. TC may likely get his ass kicked Sunday and a few times this season (who knows) but the synergy of the team is significantly better than when it was under con artist Deion to me is my point

This is mostly your perception. Ashley has always known how long he'd be at JSU. The ship was never going to sink being that the foundation was already laid and he had coaches already in place to take up the mantle. TSDS...The program has continued and will continue to thrive under his leadership.

You still feel this way? I told y’all to hold on until TC faced some heat. SCSU wasn’t good last year and wasn’t predicted to be good this year.

I still think JSU will have a winning season, but TC has to work.

I said they looked better as a team as far as the energy and image. When Deion was there it was Deion, his sons & Travis Hunter versus the rest of the team ... it's no longer like that.

As far as the Xs & Os part of TC, I'm still trying to figure him out and yes they have a lot of work to do
 
After reading this page, wow, you guys talked a whole lot of smack. I am glad we won the OBC cause it would have been rough in here.
