There’s clearly some talking going on. If Ashley doesn’t want to be at Jackson State any longer, then that’s that. We’ll move on. If the talks break down, we’ll carry on.

Ashley is overrated. Those of us who are aware of what he erroneously took credit for at PV know better. The design of the stadium was all ready complete before he became our AD. Remember, we won a SWAC Championship with a middle school stadium in 2009.

Even with a $60 million stadium and athletic complex, his hired football failed to win a SAC Championship. He gambled on Deion and won the lottery.

Our wbb coach and baseball coaches were hired by him. Their records are horrible.

I agree. Simmons and Dooley suck.
But Coach Prime and TC will make up for all of that!
Also, your lil stadium is nothing to get credit for. It's LITTLE! and you needed one.
If I was Ashley, I wouldnt even want credit for that lil thing.

9-2 back to back in the SWAC IS NOT BAD…Simmons is an excellent coach.👍🏽

I can agree with that. Simmons has done better than I expected, honestly. He didnt do much at PV and started of 6-5 at FAMU. When he got his first 9 win season, I wasnt impressed. He is not on his third so I cant hate on him.

He went 8-2 and 7-4 in his years at PV and 3 of those 6 losses was to FBS schools. 1 in 2015 his 8-2 season and 2 in 2016 his 7-4 season. So he went 8-1 & 7-2 against FCS competition while at PV.
