He looks sorryWho is this guy?
I pride myself on being aware of the city of each HBCU. Learned two things this week - Allen University is an HBCU as well as Coahoma JC. Didn’t know…Now it makes sense to me why my guy blue font posted homeboy stuff. I was lost but because he’s at an HBCU it’s being posted. He looks sorry

Deion was in portal when he made that statement. That was some hypocritical isht to sayI have a lot of assumptions in this post.
College game day posted a graphic with the following info:
3,394 players in the portal with FBS experience
1,707 Players with Starting FBS experience
17 five star recruits
I’m assuming this doesn’t include players who signed with their new schools.
If you look at scholarships for FBS schools there are 12,035 full ride scholarships available yearly. Nearly:
28% of FBS scholarship players are in the portal (this assumes everyone was a scholarship player in the portal which we know that’s not true)
14% of FBS scholarship players with have FBS starts under their belts (same note above).
I can see how FCS players looking to upgrade end up with a lateral move or back in their hometowns. As Deion told the JSU players when announcing his departure, the portal ain’t no joke. And I don’t remember all that he said but I know he said don’t just jump in the portal.
I know he said don’t just jump in the portal.
Yep he was pretty good. CheatumWatching the KSU/Alabama game and I noticed Drake Cheatum name and couldn’t remember where I knew it from. Well, he played at PV and was all SWAC last year. He’s done well for himself at KSU.

Dang he look out of shape.
Yeah. He doesnt look like a ballplayerDang he look out of shape.
The time limit is their eligibility. You are better off using the portal at the end of your sophomore year. You have 5 years of eligibility after high school. Red shirts help tremendously. We have a player that entered after spring 2020 and now he is a part time music “artist”Question: Once a player enters the transfer portal, and if no one picks him, then what? How long can he stay in the transfer portal? Is there a time limit?
Dang he look out of shape.
Yeah. He doesnt look like a ballplayer
He reminds me of Charles Barkley back in the day.Man that’s Morris Chesnut’s stunt double

My late pastor made it a point to lift an offering for Paul Quinn every month while he was pastoring. His consistency provided the example that drives me to give back on a regular basis to my Texas Southern.I have the utmost respect for the AME Church. One would be surprised at how aware they are about what is going on at their colleges even today and the financial contributions they make even when those schools get in trouble.
