Did you ask Hue why attendance was beneath 10 k for Gramblings first home game of the season? Surely if the fans showed up , fan energy alone might have guided GSU to its first SWAC W. Folks be worried about the wrong stuff.
No, but can you ask Deion what the hell him being drafted to the Kansas City Royals had to do with him lying about being recruited by FAMU to play football?

On this topic, Deoin has a tendency to talk too much thinking folks won’t research what he’s saying. Off the top, he should’ve said he didn’t remember being recruited by FAMU so this wouldn’t have been an issue. Now, We got a top 25 team in Campbell coming into the vet for homecoming and a win here is astronomical for the conference. That’s more important than “agenda” based questions and the “time” they’re asked in my humble opinion.

Agenda??? Agenda??? You J-State folks were posting previews of that 60 minutes interview all over the gott damn Internet...making sure that we all tuned in. And we did. It was YOUR coach, Deion Sanders, who said for the umpteenth time that he wasn't recruited by an HBCU...knowing damn well there was a report and interview from Rudy Hubbard saying otherwise. The 60 Minutes interview aired Sunday night, and I asked Sanders that question the very next day.

But even you just admitted, without even saying it, Deion lied. See how easy that was?

Only people who know is Deoin and Hubbard. I’m owning I’m not taking up for Deoin on this one not that he’s lying. I’m turning the focus to Saturdays game. This right here is back page material at best Kenn.

Also I used the word “agenda” because Kenn let’s not act like you haven’t had your fair share of quotes against Deoin and JSU athletics on this platform as well as your podcast. You have a history when it comes to J State. It’s not a reach to call in question your intent behind this question and exactly what are you trying to prove here in the form of an agenda. Everyone has one. Coach Prime has his (wanting to go P5), J state definitely has there’s(Trying to get as much off Deoin before he leaves) , and Kenn you damn sure have yours to keep the eyes and money on this platform going with this particular question and your choice to address it on homecoming week. With all due respect, Let’s not act Mr. Rashad

It's funny how I only have an "agenda" when it comes to J-State. But that word is never used by you, JSU folks, when I'm critical of any other coach or school. I have an obligation, to tell the truth when a lie is told. And you and others know Deion has told plenty of lies and said a lot of other foolish shit since he arrived at J-State.

If it comforts you to call it an "agenda" or call me a "hater," so be it. But ain't none of you call me "wrong."

Deoin says a lot of misinformed stuff, which I will gladly acknowledge. I do believe he owes gambling state an apology to this day for his comments to the fans not realizing very hot weather, a lack of water in the stadium , and the blowout were all reasons people left early as an example of him just talking without context. Unless I am missing something, in this question you Quoted Coach Hubbard on his endeavors to recruit here in response to Deoin saying he wasn’t recruited by an HBCU. Deoin didn’t remember. Just to be clear, because this event was over 30 years ago, if Deoin didn’t remember I stand by the fact he should’ve said this from the jump: This is now a he said he said situation. You can write the headline, lead, bridge, and finale anyway you want. You can’t deny the agenda call out because every journalist has one for the platform, station, or media outlit they represent. I can’t say you’re wrong, I can say it’s not enough information to flat out call someone a liar. If I’m misinformed , please correct me if there’s more to what seems to be a war of words. I’ll leave it there Kenn. I don’t gravel on every negative article. This particular one I’m just looking side eyed at you on. Thank you for the dialogue.

I don’t think that setting was appropriate for his question. Maybe at SWAC media days but for the SWAC weekly conference, it was completely irrelevant and surprised the Moderator didn’t shut the question down!

Of course, you didn't think it was appropriate (even though the question was in response to something that was mentioned the day before). But with that logic, was it appropriate for Deion to go on that FCS payout "money games" rant (during the weekly press conference) about how our HBCU administrators were "selling out" our student-athletes saying they were settling for "peanuts" when the examples he provided regarding FBS were completing misleading?

I'll wait.

But did you ask any questions regarding those things that were mentioned. You have access to those calls. Why wait a year later to address something when you’ve had ample opportunities.

bruh... it was news b/c of his 60 minutes interview on sunday. has nothing to do with a year ago. he should have said from jump street he didn't remember being recruited by any hbcus. Instead he said he was never recruited which if u believe the coach that he doesn't contradict, he was. he made a mistake. the end. hopefully he learns from it.

Exactly! Nothing more...nothing less.
