I was a QC fan boy, but when I saw that he wasn't a leader, I backed off. QC is the truth when he has faith, but when doubt sets in, he crumbles. I was made to see it. I truly wished him the best, cause he has the tools. He just don't have the attitude to lead a team.
Fair enough.

I understand stand why he transfer
I understand why he transferred that's his right, but people want to say he was treated unfairly. The fact is Sanders practiced all spring with the team and from all accounts was clearly the better QB with a better grasp of the offense. People still choose to believe he got the job because of his father. FCS JERRY RICE FRESHMEN OF THE YEAR..
Whether he was treated fairly or unfairly leads to the same conclusion. He had to transfer to get a chance to compete for an open spot. That's what he did. The A&M spot is now open and he has a chance to win it, which was the purpose for transferring in there. I just don't understand why he is treated like a villain for transferring.

Nobody vilified him.

And if he doesn't win the job in the spring he will have lossed out to the best QB in camp.

@Oracle what you need to get through that skull of yours is we don’t give a damn about that youngin enrolling at bama a&m.

Our harshest critiques on him came from his time on our team. We praised him & Critiqued him (Like we do every player; in the moment on gameday on this public forum). All we’ve done is laugh at the situation since he’s been bench warming at a&m because y’all came at us like it was a setback for JSU when y’all posted his lil screenshot of him transferring. lol
We wished him well….. and well, you see how that turned out. He’s ringless, a bench warmer, got murdered on homecoming by his former teammates and he’s probably going to end up transferring to MDCC for a year then off to UAPB or somewhere.

We still wish him well. Once he develope that “dawg” mentality he’ll be just fine. Until then he’ll stay standing in the shadows.

Why all the enmity against Quincy Casey? Is it that he transferred or that he transferred to A&M? What was the young man going to do? The JSU posters said the S Sanders had already been given the starting spot and Casey would not even have a chance to compete for the starting spot. If the kid wanted to land a starting spot, he had no option but to transfer to a place where he would eventually have an opportunity to win a starting position. Transferring was the logical thing to do and most people in his impossible position would have done the same. I don't understand why there is rejoicing in the fact that he will have high level competition for the spot.
I don’t have anything against Casey. You’ve misread and been misinformed about my stance, so let me be clear. I will stand up and clap for any former tiger that goes to a rival program because this is HBCU family at the end of the day. But after his interview with that “Offscript” character the dude straight advised him to go start not DIRECTLY but indirectly when speaking on his situation. He leaves which is his right and goes to A&M. Notice above in my original statement I said “IF” he does not win the starting job for A&M in a loaded QB room… This offscript gentleman steered him in the wrong direction and he wasted eligibility he cannot get back. My animosity is towards bad advice not the former player. He moved on from us to Start not be benched because he wasn’t good enough despite understanding the situation when transferring to A&M. Is my position clearer now sir ? I talk smack but deep down I’m rooting for everybody in the SWAC. I also want the kid to get what he’s earned and worked hard for.

It's clear you guys are more familiar with Casey than AAMU. So, give us some Intel. What has he displayed or has not displayed for you to say that he does not have the attitude to lead a team? Thanks in advance.

Casey doesn't have that leadership attitude. If he was our QB, we would have lost the SU game cause he would have folded. We need a bounce back QB who can see things before they happen. Casey is good and he has that "IT" when it comes to talent. But he doesn't have that "rare" overcome attitude. He just goes with the flow and accepts whatever outcome comes.

They trashed Baldwin for transferring to Michigan AFTER he was told that he basically had to pay for school out of pocket and walk on to the team. They pretty much wanted him to do the same thing

Now some of the dawgs from the Spring are getting the same treatment after they hit the portal.

Once again, you have no f***ing clue of what you type!

Fool, ain’t nobody from JSU bash Baldwin about shit. We were more upset that he left than anything because he was one of our top players. Regardless, we wish him well and actually root for him at Michigan. You gotta be one lame mf to make up some shit like this 😂

As far as Casey, everybody basically hit the nail on the head. I saw him at practice everyday. Very nice kid but he’s super lazy, always half-assed at practice, never took command/lead the offense in anyway, doesn’t know how to read defenses, but expects special treatment for some reason. That doesn’t fly on Lynch St.

That doesn't sound like him, but it does fit Coach Sanders narrative. All will come to light in a couple of months.

This is solely off what I saw everyday. Hopefully this changes with y’all but there’s no way Jalon should have even started over him if we really being honest. Jalon can’t throw worth a damn. Quincy can be a beast if he actually took stuff serious
