It sucks when kids get horrible advise from those who simply aren't too aware smh.
Saw the same thing happen to a 2.5X all-state RB in TX a few years ago (2X 1st team all-state; 1X hon mention all-state). Oregon and too many others were on him but he couldn't read/comprehend at a 3rd grade level and couldn't add 1+1. smh Told his dad a loooooooooooooong time ago WE should try and fix the academic part of his son but numnutt said "we ain't knead yo' no nobody's elses help bah! I got dis!" s...m...h.....
You just hurt their feelings. We been telling them another former 4* or better was on the way. Glass may be gone but the wheel keeps turning.

Should have just stayed with THEE, won a ring in the Fall, upped his stock in the process, and then transferred in the off-season (if he wanted to). Because right now, the way it looks, he will be 2nd tier next Fall as well.
