That section is condemned, been that way since the end of 2019Great Job Jackson State!!!
What's with the section above the Boom that's covered by a tarp? That could have kept them from breaking the attendance mark they were going after.
Is it still an official classic?Even though it was considered a classic will the JSU v Alcorn game be counted as home game attendance? Is this year the highest avg attendance that JSU has ever had?

Are you saying jsu Vs alcorn will be the first game on the schedule. The home team was Jackson State, it is only a classic in name only for a financial contract. The game next year is suppose to be played in week "0" at Alcorn.
That's what it looks like. Are you saying jsu Vs alcorn will be the first game on the schedule.

The state is the getting played because by delaying building jsu a stadium does nothing but makes the price more expensive when they do. Each year the price goes up higher than the previous year. But I said the same thing today that the state is going to have to come out of pocket either way. It was estimated in 2007 that it would cost $40m to renovate the stadium but it has gotten worst than it was then on top of more expensive goods. It would cost about $60m to fully renovate a concrete stadium of that size. Hell the press OC alone would be around $15m. It’s horrible up there and let’s not mention the structural damage to the stadium especially at the second level. JUST BUILD JSU A NEW 40k seat venue lolThat section is closed until they can get it fixed (if they can get it fixed)
That's why part of me wants them to stay in the Vet but that stadium needs modernization. JSU is in a prime position (no pun intended) to push the state to do so because it still would be cheaper to halfway do that rather than give them that 35-40K stadium
