Great game. Unfortunate ending with the fight. I know it’s a rivalry , but in the last 7-8 years I’ve seen su run on our logos , band use an overweight tiger to run to our endzone and jump on the goal post , players yelling profanities at the opposing team, and su fans and jsu fans fighting in the stands. I hope both coaches remind their team at the end of the game even though SU is our rival, we’re still brothers fighting the same fight, getting profiled , getting shot , and getting overlooked in the work industry. JSU will take the penalties that came with retaliation or initiation of the fight and own it cause it never should’ve happened. Good game SU. We had four test we had to pass this year FAMU, A&M , SU , and next up Alcorn.

You are so right! Unfortunately a good hard fought battle on the field during regulation has gotten overshadowed by an unfortunate fight/brawl after the game. Both teams will most likely be penalized by the Conference and Suspensions will likely befall both teams with the suspensions having real consequences for one team and just being symbolic for the other based on their future opponents.

I don’t either, but no man is a perfect man. I refused to single out & bash my own race for making mistakes that other races have a longer list of making. The PWI fight more on campus, in sports, and have more shooting on campus that HBCU’s by far!

Justifying ignorance my ass! We are stating facts! PWI’s have had more fights! Period. Give the humans a consequence and move on! Some of us would rather continue to preach black unity instead of black bashing!

Yeah we bashing because it's wrong. Wrong is wrong. Something your generation isn't taught. If saying discipline needs to be taught is bashing then call me a basher. Black men should be taught discipline at a young age. There is nothing you or anyone else could say to make me change my mind. Violence is never a good way to handle anything. Never.

After Jackson State quarterback Shedeur Sanders knelt down to run the final seconds off the clock in a 21-17 victory, players from both sides moved onto the field for postgame handshakes. But some of the groups escalated into shoving, scuffling and throwing punches in several places throughout.

This has nothing to do with white folks. If it was my own child I would hold him accountable as well.

It wasn’t a brawl like some people make it out to be. Just emotions were high in a heated rivalry game. If I’m Deion I would tell our players to just run with the flag on our side for AWAY games. If I’m Rollins I’m telling my players you can’t let your emotions get to you.

It’s crazy because cheerleaders flip, cartwheel & wave flags all over the field at kickoff and celebrate elaborately in the end zones on school names & logos after TDs all game but all of a sudden you lose & waving a flag is a BIG SIGN OF TOTAL DISRESPECT!
Lol only when your feelings are hurt and you mad from taking an L!

Thank You Bobby!! Lol, I'm not gonna let anybody highjack the merits of the game played by focusing on the ill advised display of emotions and hurt feelings AFTER the game! Yes, mistakes were made, punishments will be dealt out and hopefully lessons will be learned that these young men can take with them for life! Just walk away when you see or sense trouble coming being among the lessons I hope they learn.
