One Question the Media Should Ask Coach Sanders

Coach Prime if you were not the head coach at Jackson State would you motivate your son to attend Jackson State or another HBCU and play football?

The reason I want that question asked is because he has done all this talking how to improve HBCUs but his son, in my opinion, is only attending because of him.

When I hear him state what HBCUs need it sounds like that kid from your black high school that went to a white college and grad school and earned a doctorate and is only saying positive things about the needs of a HBCU because he was hired by black college. Yet, prior to being hired they were part of the silent majority.
 



Some of you skin folk is just flat out sad. Coach Prime is using his voice to reach the masses in a way that hasn't been done in a minute( If not ever). Name one coach in the swac right now that can say anything of substance that would gain national attention? I'll wait...

Coach Prime is doing whatever he can to keep the spot light on hbcus and some of you in here emotions are to clouded by jealously and envy. Hbcus will never rise to prominence again without getting our best talent to come back home. Coach Prime knows this.
 
Here’s the messed up part …

Its going to happen, and the question will come from an outlet that doesn’t care. Then the Deion/Shadeur question will be framed against other HBCU NFLers and their sons/grandsons following in their footsteps/not following

Now y’all JSU folk know good and damn well that Coach Prime’s son would not be at JSU if he wasn’t head coach.

Hell if folks want the truth Doug’s son would not be at Grambling if Doug was not the coach. DJ was being actively recruited by Alabama State.

Why hasn’t it been ask yet then Prime been the coach for going on a year now?

Well he can’t tell a lie when the truth has already been revealed. I don’t know how change some of the naysayers minds but I think Prime has been on point on 95 percent of things he has brought up that needs to changed in order to bring HBCU’s up to par. If Prime is wrong then what the hell should we be doing to bring in better athletes, get better facilities, etc.

just because the question has not been asked yet, does not mean that will get asked.

Give an outlet like the New York Times or Gannett or The Undefeated, who have time and resources to embed with Sanders and work on something in-depth, and that question will come up

Then you have basketball, that has had its fair share of father-son combos. It’s not a clear-cut paint by numbers story, because each relationship is different.

i think the blowback would have been lesser if Prime went to Grambling … due to Grambling’s history.

Naw Lioness, it HAD to be said. I'm tired of this crab ass mess I see on here. I thought this board (Sports) was about positive and uplifting even if you don't agree. But this board has turned into a negative, crab way of thinking. I talk isht, but I DO recognize positive things that can help our race, people, schools, etc.... Hell, we're not getting any help from no where else, but this isht here ^^^^^!!!! This is what I expect from white folks. Seriously.
