I think the deciding factor is that aamu is bringing back everyone with its staff in tact while famu will be breaking in a new qb and a new defensive coordinator(s).

I can assure you that no one is sleeping on JSU. Whole lot media attention is coming your way. Plus, watch how many fans show up from the other teams to JSU games. I am predicting a sellout for our homecoming game.

After the story published, Milligan was told by JSU athletics director Ashley Robinson the story was inaccurate and said Milligan would be better off covering Alcorn State and Mississippi Valley State at SWAC Media Day.

The CL will try to stick it to JSU anyway they can now. Granted, JSU doesn't need the CL because of the nationwide press Deion 😂😂 brought to the university and conference.

They would have to prove that the CL's reporting was incorrect.

Then, they have to prove that they intended to injure Quay and the university's reputation by reporting the story and updating it as new information came forward.

Good local press is a necessity. I would work to repair and build good relationships with the press. Yes we FAMU, have had our issues with local press for years but what has helped having diversity on newspaper staff. I would use Prime to help build relationship with his obvious popularity. Prime and JSU can have a great economic impact to the business community which can help drive advertising revenue for local media. We know what talks.

Papers gonna report what they want to report - if it’s news it’s news - imagine being deshaun Watson - nfl didn’t ban the hometown paper from coming to practice - that’s life and move on.
