How many dumb ass moves does Charles McClelland get to make before somebody realizes he doesn't know what the fuck he's doing?
First he brings in BCC/FAMU
Then he moved alcorn to the west potentially harming the BC and the SoulBowl

At what point are we going to realize this guy is a disaster? He HORRIBLE. Quit moving events to Alabama. Folks in Alabama don't like Alabama, they just don't know they free

This ain't rocket science....black Bamas like the Magic City Classic and Roll tide....that's it. That's all George Wallace would let them celebrate.

And WTF would you move the SWAC trny to Huntsville? Montgomery I would understand a little better, but having ANYTHING in Huntsville is a fireable offense. I could've told you how many blackbamas were going to show up.

Don't being it to Fort Worth, texas again either. I'm not a baseball guy at all and I was one of 12 in the stands embarrassed in that beautiful venue. smh
 
Dr. McClelland is doing a fine job. You have to remember that we're still in a pandemic and folks are slowly returning back to a semblance of normalcy.
The baseball tournament has historically drawn fans of the teams participating. That said, the double elimination format tends to cause some hesitancy to travel unless you think you're time has a solid shot to make it to the championship game..

I'm looking forward to the addition of FAMU and BCU.

Get Ready - Hey man, everyone is entitled to their own opinion so I won’t comment on that.

But I can give you a little background info to a few things with the baseball tourney . The SWAC baseball tourney was originally scheduled to be at Smith–Wills Stadium in Jackson, MS. But suggested improvements at the facility were not made in time for the tournament to be played. So, Dr McClelland and his staff had to find a new location in less than a months time. Riverwalk Stadium & Paterson Field in Montgomery, Alabama are out of the question because the Alabama High School Athletic Association State baseball Championships are being played there this week. Birmingham & Hoover were also out of play this week too. Covid issues in New Orleans prevented them from hosting as well.

So Assistant Commissioner Dr Jason Cable made a call to the Rocket City Trash Pandas (Double AA affiliate of the L.A. Angels) along with the Cities of Huntsville & Madison, Alabama. Soon after, Huntsville/Madison and the Trash Pandas organization were awarded as the host and they picked up the Bill for all the teams to come to Huntsville and play at the brand new facility.

attendance isn’t the best. I’ve seen that first hand. But the conference is still making money from Cricket Wireless & Academy Sports thanks to all the people who are watching the games on YouTube.

They are all incompetent. This guy is worse than that last clown. The problem is this guy is lightskin so we're going to continue to let him make mistake after mistake without questioning his FOOLISHNESS

This guy out of his own mouth said he admitted Bethune Cookman WITHOUT doing a cost benefit analysis. I just want to be in an ADs office when they get the bill for the volleyball team traveling to Daytona Beach

Because of course it was. Louisiana is a SWAC state, Alabama is not. No matter what you do you can't change the culture of Alabama. They dont give a SHIT ABOUT SWAC SPORTS. We just went through a whole SWAC football season with no STANDARD Covid protocol for the whole conference from the conference office. That allowed schools like alcorn to opt out of the season. Grambling and PV backed out after their seasons flopped. These things happen because Charles McClelland is so bad at his job.

Attendance isn't the best might be the biggest understatement of all time. I've heard Charles Edmunds explain that Cable convinced McClelland to have the trny in his hometown of Huntsville. They BOTH should be fired. When Cable presented McClelland with the idea of having ANY trny in Huntsville his response should've beentenor-1001.gif
 
I kinda feel get ready. It doesn't look right on tv with the crowd being small at those minor league baseball stadiums. The commish could've called Hattiesburg to see if there stadium could be used.

The only problem is the crowds would have been no larger in Jackson. He just mad it is not in Jackson plus he is still carrying another grudge.
