Grambling State vs AAMU cancelled

When Grambling losing, they don't show up for someone's Homecoming, It sounds familiar right (JSU)…. GSU is some sore losers with internal issues! Pay us to come to you next season or come on back down to Huntsville, simple as that. Your school getting cares act money, just like everybody else, just don't know how you using it is the issue.

Kenn I want to know what problem would you have with Grambling coming back to Huntsville next season since they weren't able to come this season and play....

That's not how it works. If grambling was hosting AAMU next year they would have to go on the road next year to make up for the lost game. There is no flip flop of home and home games.

Look at Alcorn, they lost 2 home games next season for the Southern & Valley games. Southern & Valley gained a game each next season.

Each school should host 4 conference games and go on the road to 4 games (neutral site games do have a team designated as the home team and that counts as a home game).

Looking at grambling schedule they would have to now give up home dates against stu and aamu in the fall.
Uhhh, is there a problem with the shift key on your keyboard whenever you type the letter "G?" You may need need to get that fixed. 🤔

Dahill, real talk. I really wouldn't give a shit if Grambling had to go to Huntsville next year. I really wouldn't. If AAMU, GSU, the SWAC, and whoever else is involved says Grambling has to go to Huntsville, so be it.

I applauded the idea early on of the SWAC moving the season to the spring, but once it became clear that we were far from being out of the woods with the pandemic, I wanted no parts of a spring season. But yet, we are here. And things are what they are. Like I said, there are no easy fixes.

I guess that also means you would still have those 2 coaches on staff....

😂

Man let this have been J State that did this ... we’d be having 20 page threads on the sports board, multiple threads open on the smackboard, ken and his staff would’ve wrote several articles and probably went live .... Grambling and Alcorn get a usual slap on the wrist pass smh .... hold these folks accountable please .... Grambling let’s call a spade a spade... y’all got internal issues , players ready to transfer, and Fobbs saying we can win with or without you at the helms.... get y’all crap together... this is straight up unacceptable.
"Slap on the wrist?" We received 6 conference mandated forfeits. GTFOHWTBS!

I guess by the time I wake up tonight, I'll see that gsu will have been punished for this move....

The produce folk were infected and weren't using gloves or mask. 2 of them were sick - coughing, etc very symptomatic from what the HD later informed (non-english speaking). Peaches, plums, and pears in a non-refrigerated area. That is what got me and quite a few others, among other things.
Thanks for the clarification. Hope you have fully recovered. Be well!

But you got the "vaccine" right? You still don't feel protected huh? Makes you think whats the damn purpose if you don't develop immunity! Polio--immunity; whooping cough- immunity; chicken pox- immunity. COVID---meh, uhhh, you still gon catch it but it "may not" be severe!
Following the CDC recommendation!

When Alcorn did what they did, it threw our schedule out of wack not only with the 4H/4A but you got our two biggest gates both coming TO Valley (along with a first visit from FAMU and Southern rolling back on our schedule) but all away in 2022 (3H/5A)

The same black folks who keep saying we should have cancelled the season watched the SEC, ACC and all the other games. You watched the NFL and other sports. Stop being a hypocrite now.

That irks the ____ out of me with the blatant hypocrisy

This time is like no other. There will be COVID cases and postponements in the SWAC JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER SPORT. You will just have to take precautions and pray for the best. Half of the conference has been hit with cases at one point or another.

I’m probably gonna get bashed for this but ~takes deep breath~ here goes...

I also agree with @Kenn Rashad, in regard to my UAPB, that we should not had a Spring season. Yes, I’m glad my boys are playing well, but my biggest nightmare is that I get on Twitter or the Forums and I see “UAPB” in place of that Grambling headline! And I still kinda almost sorta freaked out because we just played GSU! I don’t want to see my folks get COVID nor do I want us to possibly give it to anyone.

But I have to ask the question: if GSU decided to cancel the rest of their season now because of COVID, why have one to begin with at all? I saw where someone posted that the band and Orcheisis were having COVID issues. Two separate entities that don’t practice with the team. However, if they contract COVID, the next organization people would look at is more than likely the 🏈 team.

Lioness it's about MONEY. People are so ass backwards last fall GSU rented out their stadium to Ruston High so that Ruston High could have more fans at their games and not lose money.

I am surprised that all the teams have not cancelled games.

I have seen it first hand....these college students don't care about COVID.

You don't lose it in 2022, you still get your 4H-4A games. It's not a flip flop of games for a year. Remember when they took the home game away from grambling and gave it to jsu for canceling a game, jsu ended up with back to back years hosting them.

Sounds like some athletic budgets are going to be way out of whack.

Why so condescending?
Condescending? Have you not seen what goes on and the incompetence at all 100 plus HBCUS? Or is this one of our black family secrets that we keep pushing under the rug? Just like everybody in the family knows lil Ricky is gay. I mean dam the boy played with the girls all the time, smacked his lips, flipped his wrist, liked to bake pies and no one says anything. It ain't hard to see lil Ricky likes dickies. Not just the clothes either.

The SEC rescheduled it's Championship Football game from December 5, 2020 to December 19, 2020, to schedule SEC games postponed during the 2020 season due to the impact of COVID and involve teams that did not otherwise qualify for participation in the SEC Football Championship game.

The SEC Championship game wasn't the only SEC football game played on December 19, 2020. The SWAC should do the same. Don't let the TAIL wag the DOG. :)
