Well, if I was that policeman, I don't think I would have handled the situation that way. But, maybe he was trying to get her attention at a early age and nip what ever she was doing in the bud, let her know that there are consequences for your action. I don't know. I still say I don't think I would have handled it that way. Who called the police in the first place?

Exactlly!! That is the first thing I thought. That's why I asked, who called the police in the first place.

I read about this on Yahoo, the cop got fired, this is not protocol. Also prior to this incident, the cop had done the same thing to a 7 year old.

And the person who called the cops in the first place, should have been fired or at least severely reprimanded.
