I think there is some confusion about Texas Southern and New Mexico State. I am pretty sure that game is at NMSU. As far as Alcorn I think that is a great schedule!! Get big time SEC money and only one loss. Take a small portion of that money and bring in TWO teams you should be able to beat. Fellow HBCUs at that! Strength of schedule does not matter, if you win the East you have a chance to win the SWAC and go to the Celebration Bowl. Why get pocket change to go play other FCS schools. The ones that can pay guarantees are usually the ones that are hardest to beat.

Hate to say it but I am not a fan of this schedule at all. I would rather play Texas Southern and have a 9 game schedule than to play VUL. Do the SWAC have a contract to play these folks. I am also like jsupop33 said I want to play decent FCS schools in a close range of Alcorn. VUL does nothing but clears your bench.
