The only thing undecided is whether you guys are going to take your traditional 3rd place SWAC West seat or have a breakthrough and be runner ups (enjoy that if you can because Gram is not going to be at your level too much longer). Mumford Stadium on Pete Richardson field like hooligans and played the ball game like some sub Pop Warner team that were never introduced to the rules. As a result, they collected what they rightfully deserved, another...........L. The Southern University Football Jaguars are prairie views "Daddy." Until those boys learn how to listen to their coach (A Pete Richardson disciple) play clean football, respect opponents, they will continue to come up a day late and a dollar short.

Yeah, they got cheated out of their pride and dignity because they didn't respect the game and like a bunch of empty buckets made a whole lot of noise prior to vying in a key tilt that could have very well decide who takes all of the marbles against the defending SWAC West champions. What kind of delusions of grandeur does a ball club that haven't won very much have in those warped minds? How dare that inferior team come to the Legendary Ace Mumford Stadium on the Iconic Pete Richardson Field and play that undisciplined brand of football with intent of creating an eyesore for the nation to see. They did not play a championship brand of football and as a result, they are right where they should be........heads bowed. You were begging for it, so there you have it!

Southern coach Dawson Odums said he wasn’t happy about an moment Saturday before the Jaguars’ 34-28 victory over Prairie View.
After leaving the locker room for the start of the game, Odums said Prairie View players ran down the middle of the field and across the Southern logo at midfield of A.W. Mumford Stadium, calling it an act of disrespect that could lead to something worse.

The problem I see is that Dooley and PV want to be this hype machine type of team and want to walk around with this swag like folks should fear them. Well you got to win some championships to earn that kind of respect. Right now it is not a good look. Dooley needs to get that team under control and start concentrating on winning the championship and stay humble. Every since that kid stood over our player in Houston for that PV win and danced around during Pete's last years. PV has thought they can do anything to SU. Like they try to punk us or something. Newsflash..... The SU folks now do not like PV at all, including Big Worm and the program. This latest is more of a reflection on Dooley. Just more ammunition for us to beat PV. If PV was smart, they would not say or do this kind of crap when we play them and just come out and ball.
