well someone needs to tell the ESPN commentators because they noted the yardage between the players.
 
Can we get some passes down field .... get Johnson going and get this W.... grambling don’t want to win but we sure as hell playing timid as hell not to lose...
 
That was a BS Call!!! SWAC Refs are horrible!!!

Commentators are frequently not up on all the rules, especially on plays as unusual as that one. That was only the second time I've seen that happen, and I was just as confused the first time too.
 
I’m questioning that muff penalty.....it seems that ESPN should reach out to their refs who are consultants to explain the penalty.
